The Sun Came Up Over the Horizon

Oh, truly beautiful magnificent day

I feel you in my heart

I feel you in my soul

Come forth to my reality

 

The day in which I take back my mind

My mind that left when I thought others were in control

I see you now so clear, so beautiful

I realize that my heart controls the way

I know that if I listen to the voice of my soul that my time here will be magical

I make the day

I make the night

I make the life

It is up to me to decide how I will proceed

It is up to me what I will think

How I behave

It is up to me to decide how I will react

To you, to obstacles, to pain

It is up to me whether I have pain at all

 

Oh beautiful glorious day

The sun came up over the horizon

And my heart opened

My mind opened and I saw you

    1. Thanks Julie! It seems so silly that it took me over 50 years to learn this simple truth of life! But now I am aware…and that is half the battle….the rest is to remember and it seems like a bad joke that I learned it later in life…where the memory might not be so good! lol
