I can’t believe I had to wait ALL DAY to write this post!!! I am so EXCITED I can hardly get the words out fast enough.
I was a part of a beautiful, magical meeting of two souls…two souls that I believe have met before. I think that they have done good works in another life…because I know that they will do good works in this one!
I met our fellow blogger, Misifusa…Presents of Presence, for a walk on the boardwalk on this…another exceptionally beautiful day. This was the first that either one of us had ever met a fellow blogger, face to face. I know that some people questioned the “safety” of such a meeting, but I can tell you that I never once thought it would be anything other than what it was….MIRACULOUS!
I can’t begin to describe the energy we created. We connected immediately and barely came up for breath as we jabbered the whole length of the boardwalk. I did not see or hear one other person (except for the man ~ the only person ~ who had enough guts to get close enough to look like he might take a seat on the bench we stopped at!) We both are very expressive with our hands (ok ~ our whole bodies) and I can only imagine what we looked like as we walked, talked, screeched in laughter with hands flailing in the air. She even touched my arm once and there was an electric shock!! Oh yes, we definitely had some energy flowing 🙂
This is a day that I promise you, I will never forget. Spirit has a way of giving us gifts when they are most needed. Every thing in life is presented to us exactly in the right time, in the perfect way. I made my way through a bit of a tough patch recently. And I had several gifts from fellow bloggers this week…you all know who you are and I thank you with so much gratitude in my heart.
This wonderfully beautiful gift, meeting this amazing woman and sharing our energy, was the icing on my cake!
Life is great!
P.S. Can you believe those Hawaiian Leis suddenly appeared at our feet on the boardwalk? The best part is there was no question that we would stoop to pick them up ~ we never in a million years thought they weren’t for us!!! 🙂 And the beautiful “Jersey Girl” sign was a gift to me from Misifusa…the significance of which I shared with her…but I will just tell you that it meant A LOT!! <3

Oh dear Amy! It was like a dream! I find it hard to put into words….I just know that the energy that was there today was incredible. I have had a recurring thought about a bunch of us getting together. People gather at conferences all the time…I keep thinking it would be so cool to have a “conference” where we could all meet…Oh my goodness…we would blow the roof off the building! I know it would be hard to organize…and people are on here from all over the world…ah…but we must dream big…No? <3 <3 Thank you so much for understanding how special this was!

It sounds to me like you’re true kindred spirits – as in “real kindred spirits.” How BLESSED you both are to have crossed paths in this life. It’s only ever happened to me once (so far) – and it was exactly as you just described your meeting and day to be – including the electric shock. I am SO happy for you both – it’s truly a gift to cross paths with a kindred. And WOW – those Leis appearing at your feet was a little bit strange huh? Can I use the word “splendid” hehe. It was the strangest thing…boom…there they were. And seriously, they were probably there because no other adult was going to bend down and pick them up 🙂 But it was at the very beginning of the walk…almost right after we met. Definitely a sign, regardless of why they were there. And yep – I met a kindred once – it was like an explosion of energy from every direction, combined with every emotion (and more) known to man – an immediate “familiar” – a bond and closeness that can’t even be put into words if you try. I totally understand what it is you felt and I am SO THRILLED for you!!!!!! It’s the most spiritual and thought provoking thing ever – it truly makes you realize the illusion we’re living in, and how much more there is to the puzzle of existence. ((((hugs)))). So happy for you!!! I’m really happy we met here too. 🙂

How wonderful for you both Lorrie. At first, I thought this was a boy meets girl story due to the pink & blue leis! XD It’s been too long since I’ve had that kind of connection; a beautiful gift indeed. I’m so happy for you. I too have thought of meeting fellow bloggers, though my idea is to travel the world connecting with bloggers like points of light as I travel the globe. But I’ll play along with a mind-blowing, heart-opening festival! 🙂

I can’t begin to explain to anyone other than you Lorrie how magical yesterday was for me as well.
