I wrote this months ago and I didn’t know if I would post it.  Today I woke and I was still on the fence.  I drew an Angel Card and my eyes opened wide when I saw what it was…”FREEDOM!” (Healing with the Angels..Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue, Ph.D)

Card meaning:  The Angels guide you to freely express your true thoughts and feelings with love.

So, I post this in honor of all humanity.  I post it for the lives lost not only on that day, but on every day where man decides that killing will erase fear.  And I pray!  I pray that the truth…that love is the only antidote to fear…becomes known by all!!  My heart really hurts….

  1. “… a reminder of sad times” – on september 11th it was the same blue sky as in your beautiful picture. Each of us remember very clearly we he or she was doing then… “Angel Cards”… “Freedom”, meaningful sign! You should tell us more about these cards Lorrie! Have a nice day 🙂 and much love to you ♥♥

    1. Hello dearest!! Thank you…and yes…everyone remembers where they were. It was a very sad day. But thank you for always being there for me!

      The Angel Cards are a deck…that have messages. I really don’t know much about the tarot so I don’t know if they are similar….i suppose maybe you use them the same. Like today, I was not sure about posting this so I mediated on the question and set an intention that the Angels would make the answer clear by the card I (blindly) chose. When I picked the Freedom card…considering the new tower’s name is “The FREEDOM Tower” I thought I had the answer! Plus the lovely words made me realize that I wanted the post to be about love.

      And I’m so happy you enjoyed my gecko story!! I was quite the sight to see!! 🙂 Much love!! <3 <3 <3

      1. I have a tarot deck, but it’s a bit complex…I need a book to interpret, and morever I only use the “major arcana”… which is a bit… unorthodox…with tarot! your angel cards sound great and easier. And very fair! Take care 🙂 ♥♥♥

        1. Yes dear Fre’de’ric Georges!! 🙂 I don’t know much about either set of cards. I just know that the Angel cards are very supportive, yet informative. I have not had them long…and I have not used them much. But every time I have used them…it would appear that the Angels are sending messages 🙂 🙂 <3 <3 <3

  7. People like yourself, Lorrie, hurt deeply because you feel so deeply! It’s in your personality “DNA.” There are so many sad things about 9/11/2001. However, there was so much kindness offered in so many ways from person to person on that day as well.

    While we remember the fallen, let us also recall those who rose up in a time of great need…

  10. I was such a beautiful blue sky that day – a beautiful blue sky and a beautiful crisp day. I wish I could “not let my heart go there” – but it will always be there. Such a touching and wonderful Haiku. <3 <3 Light and Love. <3

    1. I remember!! All of it!! You were closer…we were in NJ. The sky was brilliant…but the day turned so dark….
