A Cloud of Love

135

A cloud of love

Yes, that is what I wish for you

A cloud of love

to descend from the heavens

Angel’s playground

Envelop you – hold you – caress you

Give you a place for those falling tears to land

A cloud of love

reminiscent of cotton candy dreams

A place where you are protected

A place where you become strong again

A place to lay your head and rest

A cloud of love

unconditional love is expressed

and known

You feel your soul begin to stand up and take notice

This cloud of love offers you a safe haven

The place that just “is”

And you recharge your love

And you know

you just know

And everything makes perfect sense

You know exactly what you need to do

You know the steps that you must take

You know the path leads to your home

Yes, I wish for you a cloud of love…

Every time you need it!

Blessitude

Lorrie

  1. Ah Lorrie, what a beautiful picture and what a beautiful poem… you know, it makes me think of the Wizard of Oz, and the famous song:
    “Somewhere over the rainbow…”
“A place where you are protected
A place where you become strong again
A place to lay your head and rest”
I love the rthythmic repetition of a place… it makes us sure such a place exists, and yes, it does exist!!!
    “reminiscent of cotton candy dreams”
your words are sooth and kind… you can heal whoever is suffering… it is because such clouds are floating in your heart, and you are able to share them…

    MERCI
    Lorrie

    1. Thank you my dearest!! I love The Wizard of Oz…and especially “Somewhere over the rainbow!” (I played the Wicked Witch of the West in a school play…although I wanted to be Dorothy…apparently my witch scream was much better than my singing!! 🙂 )
This poem came out of a response I made on a blog…Someone was in pain and I wanted to help them…I wanted them to know that everything was going to be ok! And I love clouds…I really do! I can imagine running and jumping from cloud to cloud…I think Angels do!! They seem like a very protective, loving, and forgiving place….

Thank you for thinking beautiful clouds float in my heart!!! Much love to you dearest!!! <3 <3

    1. You too Me’lanie! Love that Beatle’s song 🙂 No, I don’t think that I know the “real” story…unless you are talking about the story of the play “Wicked” which (witch) I adored!! Things are not always what they appear…are they? Much love…blessed week <3

  11. Beautiful Lorrie. I greatly accept the clouds of love. Especially when all the noise of the world and it’s ideas seem to be crowding in and snuffing out peace. That’s when I come back to my secret place and cry out. And then ahhhhhhh, His cloud of love envelops me and reassures me that I’ll never understand it all.
    Bless you.
    🙂

    1. Oh Stacilys….I know exactly what you mean!! All I want is to spread love, peace, and happiness in the world. You can’t listen to any news reports or read newspapers without feeling your heart ripped out of your chest. The unrest and fear seems to be reaching epic proportions. Bless you.. and thank you for showing your heart! Much love! <3

      1. I hear you loud and clear. The news is unbearable at times. Downright shocking actually. We can’t give up spreading the love, peace and happiness, my friend.
        THank you.
        🙂

  12. My dad had a stroke last friday morning. He is fine..as far as post stroke fine goes. He can still do most of the things he is used to doing, but with limited mobility on his right side.
This poem was a soothing balm to my heart.
Again, I am thanking God for you.

    1. Oh Melanie I’m so sorry to hear about your Dad. It sounds like he got treatment quickly which is so important with a stroke…I will send him healing energy. ..and send you much love as well! I am so happy that this poem came to you at a time in need! Much love to you…I am so grateful for you too! <3

      1. Your love is felt
