There are many roads to travel
And there are many choices to be made
There will be times that you feel alone
But you are not
Listen my friend
Hear from your center
The one who will help you speaks from there
If there are times that you feel you can’t hear
ASK
Ask for the answers and they will appear
If there are times that the road seems long and you feel you’ve lost you way
Look around you
There is something to learn
There will never be a road that you take
That won’t offer you some kind of gift
To be present
Here in this lifetime is a wondrous gift
Take advantage of every opportunity
Of every day
The journey is long and you control the path
Lead with love in full faith
And receive the abundance that life so beautifully offers
It is all waiting for you
You must believe that you deserve all the good things that are in store for you
Yes – believe in the abundance of our magnificent existence
Unfurl the burning desire
Partake
Rejoice!
Blessitude
Lorrie

Nurture away dear one!!! It is so important. You give so much of yourself that you need to replenish. I hope we won’t be without you for too long!!! (that is me being selfish!!! 😉 ) Safe travels to you dearest Trini!! Enjoy yourself! <3
I am not tired from the blogging world! I only get strength and comfort from this world, so it is the outside world that has tired me out. I will put a notice on my blog when I leave (its not until next week). But I will be in the blogging world in singapore as well 🙂 <3 <3 <3

Beautiful post and guide. Thanks Lorrie. Lately, it’s hard to trust, relax, find clarity or courage to act.
Sorry, Brad…you are in a valley…sometimes we have to manually push ourselves back up the peak!! I only say it because I am navigating a steep climb at the moment…and I know if I think too long about it being hard…it will be hard!! So I wish for you swift…beautiful climbing!! Believe! ! <3 <3
Thanks Lorrie!
And so the beauty of entrusting ourselves to the flow! Beautiful post and actually practical when we allow ourselves to go down that road.
Thank you Dennis! I love your wisdom…you always say something that speaks directly to my heart! <3
What a georgeous hymne to LIFE Lorrie!!! and to “the abundance of our magnificent existence” As Val said, “Partake! I Love this word for today and every day.”… you know today I saw the physiotherapist for the last time, I will have a x ray control next monday. I’m just amazed by the ability our body has to “re-build” itself, I now have regained 100% of my shoulder mobility, and it’s an amazing feeling: yes, “You must believe that you deserve all the good things that are in store for you”, and I feel very grateful for that. Great post, great poem, GREAT Lorrie 🙂 I ♥ U
Thank you dear Fre’de’ric! I am so happy that you have 100% mobility back in your shoulder…that is great news. Of course it did not “just happen” this I know…you had to put the work in physically…and you had to believe that you would heal. It is such an important part of healing. If the belief is not there…it will not happen! I thank you for your beautiful words…thank you for always being such a wonderful support to me. I <3 U 2!!!!
WOW Lorrie, you just wrote my last few days! I love when that happens ((((hugs)))). I wrote something with regard to pain not being caused by loss, but by fear of change – and being a “being” who believes that fear is darkness, as soon as those words came to my mind I realized where “I” had put myself. Life changes, it’s a never ending chain of events that lead to other chains of events – and if you refuse to be afraid of change, the journey is one filled with wonder, excitement and a little bit of “ooow, I wonder what’s coming next.” 🙂 I so love that you wrote this today of all days.
Much love and light to you my spiritually beautiful friend. ♥ Kimberly
So, so, so good to hear from you!!! And you just made me cry…but it’s okay….it’s a good cry! I am a little weepy today…go figure 🙂 Yes…I’m sitting here wondering what is going on with me and you write and put it all out there for me to see. I prayed to God that I would find my answers and poof! It comes to me…in a response from you…and it is fear!!! It is always fear…I don’t know why I don’t recognize this by now….if it isn’t love…it is fear!!!!
Thanks for clearing that up for me…hehe!! I hope your world is full of love and laughter and that your Georgie Girl is feeling better too! Much love and many thanks for being my answer <3 <3
Hi my spirit way over there! You’re not alone honey – and it’s not only a you and I club either. Fear’s a biggy to overcome and it comes in so many forms and affects so many different aspects of our life. That’s what I wrote about in my post today – that among other things – that it was loss that was causing my pain, but the fear of change. Like me, at times more than me – we go back and forth, you are very spiritual, empathic and aware – and while those are blessings and gifts, they also come with an emotional roller coaster ride. It’s okay to be on that roller coaster, it’s okay to not be feeling connected to the source all the time (though I’d prefer it be all the time) – there’s a great saying about roller coasters … once you’re on the way down, there’s no where to go, but up. This dimension, this life, is challenging enough emotionally without an ounce of spirituality – add in the spirituality and you have a dual reaction …. on one side, everything is beautiful, peaceful, makes sense, you’re connected, you see and feel what most don’t — on the flip side, you see and feel what most don’t, which can be lonely, or at times, when it’s not as strong as it is during other times (times when you your connection has nearly slipped away), an entire mudslide of emotions can surface – where’d it go? Why am I feeling this way? Hey what just happened? Something’s missing? You’ll be okay honey, of that I’m sure. Just ride out the wave, it eventually lead you to the shore. <3 (((((big hugs)))))
I needed this in a huge way…I am so thankful for your very meaningful words!! It is all okay! It has always been okay….and it will always be okay!! This I know…of this I am sure!!! Thank you for shedding light on my darkness. I may even go look at the ocean and visually ride the wave you are speaking of 🙂
Sometimes we just need a little reminder…Thank you!! Now I need to go look….because I don’t think I got an email that you posted!!! I will have to figure that out!!
Much love <3 <3
<3 <3 <3 If you do go to the ocean – get lost in the wind. <3
Amen! Well stated Lorrie!!

“You must believe that you deserve all the good things that are in store for you” – I am going to write this and add to my “wall of stuff” that I have in my room. What a lovely read this was. Whenever I visit your blog it fills me with so much optimism, it’s unbelievable, I am eternally thankful for that Lorrie. Much love, my friend. <3

Hi Akriti! ! Hope you are well…happy you stopped by! ! <3
“Take advantage of every opportunity Of every day”
–Now that’s the key, isn’t it. Lorrie, have you ever watched the movie, “The Peaceful Warrior”? It is phenomenal, to say the least. I think you would truly enjoy it, if you get the chance. One of my favorite quotes from it is: “There are no ordinary moments.”
Thanks for the encouraging post, sweet lady.
🙂 <3
Hi Staci! Thank you…and you are welcome. 🙂 I have not seen the movie “The Peaceful Warrior” so with your recommendation I will have to search for it!! “There are no ordinary moments!” …DELIGHTFUL!!!! Have a super wonderful week 🙂 <3 <3
Today, your post is a gift to me. I seem to have frozen in my tracks through some tough and emotional circumstances. Haven’t been able to write or meditate…….but I know it’s here for a reason, and I’m ready to learn. Bless you for being in tune with our pain.
I thought you were a little absent! I am sorry for your troubles…and I understand. ..I also am going through a bit of a rough patch. You are correct to know that whatever we are facing is there for a reason…we will learn something from the struggle.
I send you so much love…and someone helped me to understand today that it is fear that is trashing my energy. And I know this…as simple as it is it is either love or fear…yes? So I send beautiful love…and I ask you to ask yourself, “am I truly honoring myself…and am I treating myself with love?” This can fundamentally get you back on track!! Best wishes and many blessings! <3 <3
Wow! You and Staci and other bloggers I’ve read tonight are on a roll with some amazing posts. This is stunning, Lorrie. There are indeed no ordinary moments, and you’re post if proof of that. Thank you for sharing your beautiful heart and thoughts. Hugs and love, N 🙂 <3
Oh, Thank you so much Natalie!! I so honor your spirit and your words mean a great deal to me!! Much love to you…I hope you feel better! !! <3 <3

Sue <3
Hi Sue 🙂 Thank you for your wonderful words. ..and beautiful support!! It amazes me how sometimes words come out of me that I don’t normally say…”partake” for one…but I love it!! I’m happy you are here…and I’m happy that you enjoyed this one 🙂 <3
yesss, that’s ‘my’ gal! <3 We've just found THE genuine Lorrie… 🙂

@"The journey is long and you control the path…" – exactly, so always remember, please: 🙂
‘It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul…'(Invictus – W.E. Henley))
wish and hope you'll put into practice the last lines of your amazing post… 😉

@'partake and rejoice'… absolutely, Miss Lorrie! 🙂 'memento mori, carpe diem et gaudeamus igitur!” – remember you’ll die, live this very day and therefore let's rejoice in it! 🙂
Yes!! I love your response Me’lanie!! And I really like “the captain of my soul!” As the “captain” of 20 or so women for many years for a tennis team…I think the transition to captain of my soul should be very easy!!! 🙂 🙂 I hear your words and I thank you so much for your support. ..you make me smile…and for that I am very grateful! ! <3 <3
Beautiful uplifting words. “unfurl the burning desire”. That’s so lovely! I could see a painting coming from that, or a drawing. It’s piqued my imagination.
🙂 I love the idea…yes…I think for sure there is art that can be expressed!! If you create something. ..please share with me! Thank you for your kind words! <3
You’ve given me HOPE, Lorrie. Thank you. (((HUGS))) Amy
Much love to you dear Amy! I love what you said…who could want for more!! <3 <3
