Hi everyone! I need your help. The following photos are groupings of decorative glass plates that will be hung on a wall. They are quite large…approximately 6 feet wide by 4 feet high (the total grouping.) I have moved these plates for a total of about 5 hours (and boy does my body know it!)
I have narrowed it down to the following four photos (down from the gazillion I looked at!) and would like to put it out there and see what grouping “talks” to you. So…if you don’t mind…let me know which is your favorite.
And I can’t quite promise that I won’t put up the rest of the gazillion! 🙂

Thank you so much for voting!!!! I appreciate it 🙂
You are very welcome darling 😉
😉 Thank you!!
I like photo #2
How are you? Thanks for looking and voting 🙂
Photo number one. The shape of the grouping feels right.
Photo 1
Hi Belinda…hope you are well! Thank you…this has been driving me crazy!! <3
Is it the picture that shows up in my reader first, number 1? I wasn’t quite sure. They are all beautiful in any case.
Yes, Belinda…it is number 1 (at least it is in my reader 🙂 ) Thanks!
i think emma is right with 2
So happy to have feedback…Thank you!! <3
the composition of foto 4 is just amazing it leads my eyes with the colors
Thank you for taking the time to look and vote…and for the explanation! <3
Fun stuff Lorrie; crowdsourcing your decorations. I would like to move them around in person to see & feel the best grouping. I like 1 or 2, and might arrange them slightly differently, but I definitely like the spiral plate as the focal point. 🙂
Brad!! I wish you were here to move them around!!! Hehe! The two largest ones sit flat on the ground…but the others have a 1.5″ diameter piece of glass sticking out (that is how you mount them) so I have to place 3 tennis balls underneath to balance the plates! So moving them has been an act of juggling, balancing, and working out!!
Thanks for your input…when you say you would arrange them differently did you have something in mind? or just in general? Thanks!! <3
A workout is good. 🙂 I’d have to move them to see what I like, that’s how I do my decorating.
Another day I wish we lived closer 😉
Where in FL do you live?
I like them all ha! I can see why you can’t choose. I like 2 and 4! Just close your eyes and point to one . Xx Karen
Perfect advise!! 🙂 I loved them so much…and then I just got confused! Thanks for voting 🙂 <3
2 is the only 1 Lorrie. H <3
Hi Hariod!!! Thank you! And I adore your certainty!! Hope you are fabulous!! <3
Hi Lorrie. Nice glass pieces you have here. Are they going up in your place? I would have to say 1 or 2, because the biggest one seems to make sense in the middle, or as the focal point. Actually, looking at it again, I think 2 works best. It seems most harmonious as a cluster.
Let us know which you chose ok.
🙂
Hi Staci! Thank you so much!! Yes…they will go on a main wall (I am really praying it works…that it will not look too big!) A friend gave them to me as she couldn’t use them…she knows how much I adore them. So happens the colors will work in the room 🙂 It will be quite the job getting them all up on the wall…as the placement is “tight” where I have them overlapping. But I will believe that it will work out beautifully and I will get to enjoy this most generous present!!! Thanks for your opinion….I will let you know! Hope you are super! <3
Excellent. You should take a picture afterwords and share with your readers how it turned out.
I’m doing well thank you.
🙂 <3
I will Staci! Again…please send good thoughts for the “hanging” project!! 🙂 <3 Glad you are doing well!!
Sending them now, my friend.
🙂 <3
Okay…wait!…No, wait!…I a m t h I n k I n g…number 4, no wait! Yep, yep, I have it now…it is absolutely number…1, no, 2, no, aw, shucks! LOL…#3, for sure!

You are killing me!!! Haha….very very funny! 🙂 Thanks for your vote…I mean votes!!! <3
LOL…I’m just a screwball, what can I say…You know you are most welcome. You know I can see you struggling with that project as you said…that is so “Lorrie,” at least to my thinking.
It just HAS to be right or else!
Got your email, thanks a lot. One is on its way back…

#3. The orange/red is my favourite, so the placement is important to me. Has to be central, and not too high or too low. So, #3 🙂
Thank you so much for your input…that plate is also a favorite of mine!! I appreciate the explanation also! 🙂
I vote for photo 2, something about the placement of the spiral plate really stood out for me. 🙂
Thanks Dom! Appreciate you taking the time to help me make up my mind! 🙂
I like number 2
Hi Julie!! Thank you so much 🙂
#3 for me. Hey, a rhyme!
Look at you!!! Thanks Dennis 🙂
I like #2 :). They look like giant lollipops!!
That’s awesome Julie!! Thanks for helping <3
When in doubt, I ask my daughter.. She said 1. <3
Awesome!! Two for the price of one!! 🙂 Tell her thank you for me!! <3
She likes to be part of me blog. It is so sweet. She likes to be part of whatever I am doing. She writes healing notes and songs in a little journal. It is precious. She has her own private blog too. <3
What a sweet little Angel!! Much love <3
I kind of like 2. If you look too long … I can see how your head must be spinning. Lol. I’m with closing your eyes and picking like Karen says. 🙂
Oh, Laurie! It became so overwhelming! It is a major project to hang…and pretty “permanent!” But I am going to let go of the FEAR involved because this gift was meant to bring me JOY!! Thanks Laurie!! <3
Yes, as some comments here — maybe it isn’t supposed to be so serious of a thing. I know I felt kind of overwhelmed with my book and once I got the proof all the worry seemed so silly 🙂 I realized there is really no wrong way… <3
Perfect! Thank you! You are so correct!! 🙂
I am not sure my comment took, sooooo I prefer picture #1. The grouping is more pleasing, the shapes flow…
🙂 Thank you for voting!
two.
Thanks Cindy 🙂
I like 4 and the placement of the orange red one and the one with the cobalt bit of swirl. What a lovely gift!
Thank you Kanzen! It is an amazing gift…I’m so grateful…and I will enjoy them so much 🙂
#1 🙂
Thanks Neha 🙂 I hope all is super with you!
Definitely # 2 but what are you going to do with all of these huge plates???
I admit I’m kind of hungry…so I was thinking the big orange one would make a great pasta dish!! 🙂 Just kidding! They will all be mounted (hopefully successfully) on the wall behind my sofa…a giant art piece! Send me good thoughts that the project goes well…and looks great!! Thanks Andy!
Photo 3 seems more balanced to me. I like it the best! Good Luck!
Thank you!! Vote for 3 noted!! 🙂 Hope you are super!!
Lorrie
photo 4 for sure
Hi John 🙂 Thanks for voting!!
I like #1
🙂 Thank you…appreciate you taking the time!!
It’s between 1 and 2, with a leaning towards one. 🙂
Thanks dear Natalie! <3
My favourite is Photo 2 goruping. 🙂
Hi Louise…thanks! <3
photo 2
Thank you!!
Photo 2 – I love the way the grouped colours work together.
Thanks Mo! I’m glad you voted 🙂
PS – Could I use one of the pics for me artwork – pretty please???
Yes! I can’t wait to see how you transform it!! Have fun Mo! <3
Photo 2. The overlapping makes it fit together.
Thank you!! I agree with the overlapping! 🙂
I agree with many others here Photo 2 does it for me.. its more balanced.. 🙂
Thanks for voting Sue 🙂

Couldnt resist your call for assistance.

Thanks Val!! I appreciate that 🙂 Hope your yoga training is going well! I’ve missed you! <3
#4 is my favorite. I like the way the large yellow plate is on the bottom and to the right. I also really like the aquamarine plate with the golden center being displayed above it. The other arrangements have bolder colored plates arranged in a way that seems to overpower that plate a little.
Thank you for your detailed response
…I really love the smaller aquamarine plate…it has so many aspects that are pleasing to the eye. I appreciate you taking the time to respond 🙂 Have a super day!
I’d say n° 2… but you’re THE Boss and YOU decide: whatever fits you, will fit us all… 🙂
Thanks dear Me’lanie!! I had two favorites from the start…but then I would look again and see why the others made the cut! And then I would be confused all over again!! 😉
If you’re still taking votes – mine is # 2.
Yes! Thank you for voting 🙂 I am in the process of “planning” the actual hanging. There are many factors to consider…I hope to have it completed this weekend…and I will write a post to show the finished project! Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
I believe the position of the swirling, large ‘shell’ hypnotizes you, I kept going back to it.
Yes…I agree! Thanks again!
I read some of your earlier posts today. Then I went to my Mom’s and she had an article written by her brother that she wanted me to read. I felt like I was reading your posts again!! Something happened and I didn’t get to check the facts…but my Uncle was enlisted and went to NC for training…He jumped out of gliders….I will check the facts and get back to you. But it was kind of bizarre…I don’t usually read about war times…and then to read two stories today that were so similar. Maybe they knew each other…?
Jumping out of gliders in NC sure sounds like Camp MacKall to me!! The 11th A/B helped to develop those balsa wood contraptions.
I will write when I can look at the article again…but I’m pretty certain it is the same….amazing synchronicity!
Photo 2.
Thanks Theresa! <3
Lorrie, please contact me at twoberries@sbcglobal.net ASAP. N
Natalie…I just found this comment. ..I am writing now!
Photo 2 would definitely be my choice.

Hi David…Thanks for voting! I had hoped to get to hanging them today…but it may not happen until tomorrow. I will post about the “winner” and hopefully a great photo of the finished project! I am happy you stopped by!
I like the overall outline of #1 the best.
I’m too late to vote but I did see where the plates came from which I was curious about. They are stunning! They look hand made which would be even better. They were beautiful any way you arranged them but #1 brought my mind to the look of a comet or shooting star with the bright orange at the front followed by the trail of light.
Oh…I love your description!! You are not too late because I did not get to hang them this weekend as anticipated. Thank you…I love them also…I’m so grateful! ! 🙂 Hope you had a great weekend.
Photo 3: best energy; most movement.
Thank you George!! I got delayed in the hanging process so…it’s anybody guess what I might do!! 🙂
Not wanting to be swayed by any other opinion, I skipped the earlier comments just so I could cast my completely uninfluenced vote for #2. It has something to do with the large orange and yellow plate jumping off the screen at me. At any rate, I’m glad to see you able to occupy yourself with these beautiful dishes, and you have my hopes that your day has been a good one. I’ll read you later.
Thank you so much! I love what you did also….I would have done the same thing! 🙂 I have had a few crazy family health crisis’ that have prevented me from doing the actual hanging. I can’t wait to get them on the wall…but my time has been spent elsewhere. As soon as I get them up on the wall I will make a post with the “chosen” formation! Thanks again for stopping by 🙂
I like the fourth choice. Three plates with blue accents make a triangle around the rest and the ones with the least amount of design are centralized. This seems the most balanced arrangement to me. It forces one to look equally at the variety.
Hi Daniel!! Welcome 🙂 Thank you so much for expressing your opinion so wonderfully!! I really loved when people were able to tell me WHY they chose the pattern they did. Your ideas were very detailed and I see what you are saying. I am absolutely crazy because I was all set to install the plates and then my life exploded. It will be quite a while before I am able to get them on the wall…but as soon as I do I will write a post about it! Thanks for stopping by & for voting!! 🙂
