This writing is very powerful

I am sitting alone at the pool

Crying

I feel that I am on the verge of a life changing event

I have fear

But I have love

I am certain that everything happens for a reason

I am certain I am supposed to be here alone

I am certain that God loves me

And that I have been protected my whole life

I know that my truth lies dormant in my soul

I know that there is great pain there

And I know that every step I take is preparing me for this truth

And in this truth I know that I will be safe

And I know that I will be healed

And I know that what will be revealed will be something

That not only helps me but will help many

I am so grateful

I understand that we are all on a journey

And that we all help one another

Even when it looks like it is not help

I know the antidote to fear is love

And I feel love like I have never felt before

It is not the clingy I’m afraid you will leave me kind of love

But love that comes from creation

Love that binds us each to the other

In happy times

And in times of great tragedy

Love that wants to help

Love that wants to do things

Love that wants to understand

That every soul is doing the best that they can

At any particular time in their life

Bless me with this knowledge

So that I may live in this place

Walk in this love

Believe with my whole being that it matters

It matters

It ALL matters

Blessitude

Lorrie <3

    1. ♡ Thank you dear Andy. Hope your week is off to an amazing start. By the way…I started your book and I LOVE IT!!! I just need more time to snuggle up with it. You are a fantastic storyteller and I really like your style:)

  1. It is very helpful to be reminded of what the face of trust looks like when it stands before a barrage of real-life challenges and “reasons” to throw in the towel. Peace, love, and joy! ~Dennis

    1. “The face of trust!”…Wow, Dennis!! Yes! The most amazing thing I am learning is that with this trust we can truly make it through ANYTHING!!! Thank you my friend ♡♡

    1. It is so true!! Thank you for writing and thank you for knowing!! The more we all walk together in this truth the stronger we all become!! Much love <3

  2. Trust too that the truth lies dormant in the soul. 🙂
Our human pain surrounds the soul. The soul itself is inner peace and love. Once we meet this human pain we can break through to the loving truth within.
You are on an amazing path of courage and love Lorrie. Take all the time you need for yourself. This is your work right now.

    1. At a prayeral…Thank you so much. I needed to hear your words. I have been kind and gentle with myself through this healing…I know it is important. But I am in the midst of a couple of whammies right this minute! I know my recent healing prepared me for this leg…but it is a bit overwhelming. Please say a prayer! <3

  3. I adore all of this, particularly these lines: “Love that wants to understand…That every soul is doing the best that they can…At any particular time in their life” So very true!!! Sending you big LOVE-filled HUGS 💞

  4. Really enjoyed this piece, Lorrie. I felt like your experience here was a microcosm of whatever experience whatever power had before giving rise to this Universe. We’re still echoing in that Love. It’s like the cosmic background radiation. This knowing that we’re about to discover something, and it’s good. That we’re made of something that wants to help, to know and be known– something that can weather any storm…

    Peace
    Michael

    1. Thanks dear friend! I love what you said because it rings such truth for me. It is also comforting to know that we are made of “something that wants to help!” So peaceful…so beautiful. I hope your world is full of wonder and love ♡♡

  5. I like the thought of you walking amongst love, I believe it to be your natural habital…but then you’ll blend right in with the environment. No fear, we seem to have a knack for finding each other & ourselves. Sending you a warm, fragrant and peaceful breeze. xo Harlon

    1. 🙂 That’s beautiful, Harlon. Thank you for the gift of your words. I have now been up for 25 hours straight…and traveled 1250 miles by car stopping only for gas and restroom….long story. I may not be very present for a few days. I wish you many blessings ♡

  6. I love the power in these words. GOOD power, beautiful to behold: the power of LOVE. It almost took my breath away (in a good way) as I read it. Perfect title! You know, this series would make a great book!

    1. Hi JoAnne 🙂 Giant smile. Thank you for expressing what you felt…I love it!! And thanks for saying it would make a great book…one day I WILL have a book in print 🙂 Much love to you ♡

  7. “it all matters”
—All of humanity has a need for meaning and purpose. We all want to matter. I think you touched on something here, my dear.
    🙂 <3

  8. “Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; (it) bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails…” (1 Cor. 13:4-8)

Many know this as an example of the unconditional love of God for us…”Agape” love. But if we can learn to apply this depth of love to others, especially to those closest to us, we are loving like God loves. And if those we love in this way love us back in like manner, our relationships will be enriched beyond words!
