Haiku ~ 5/23/15 ~ We All Return Home

Day of reckoning

unexpected visitor

comfort provided

I thought he was lost

but he was on a mission

sent to remind me

There’s nothing to fear

It’s all made up in my mind

time to release it

He carries his truth

Just like the shell on his back

and then returns home

Lorrie ❤

Ah!  Hello my friends.  I just read a post by my dear friend, Michael, from Embracing ForeverSo many times his writing is an arrow that goes directly to my heart.

This post just capped off a beautiful week for me, one of trust, love and healing.  It reminded me of an encounter I had at my pool, the day prior to my surgery.  I was reminded I took photos of my visitor and of the feeling of peace and comfort my little friend provided.

When I read Michael’s post it all felt so synergistic!  I was inspired to write this multiple haiku and to share it all with you.  Do, please, check out Michael’s home if you have not already.  Enjoy!! 🙂

Much love…Namaste

Lorrie ❤

    1. Hey Uncle Tree! Thanks my friend. It was really funny because he scared me at first…I let out, not quite a snake scream but, a scream all the same. 🙂 Hope you have a fantastic Memorial Day weekend! ♡

  4. So “of course” Lorrie, I just read Michaels post before I came to your page! I was intrigued by your comment and had no idea you had surgery! We are all synchronistically allowing our love within to shine!
heal quickly, and love like there is only now! Heart to Heart Robyn

  5. Oh wow, you had a turtle come right up to your pool/place? That’s great. My son would have loved that. I liked what you said about fear being made up in the mind. It’s so true, isn’t it? Fear, like many feelings, can often blind us, don’t you think? I’m glad the turtle served to bring you some comfort and tranquility before going in for surgery Lorrie.
    🙂 ❤

      1. Ohhhhh, he scared you? I’m sure he’s harmless. I guess he caught you by surprise eh. Hehehe.
You also have a beautiful week Lorrie.
        🙂 ❤

      1. Awesome. Pick up the call Lorrie! Can you believe Julie and I are into the 300’s now, woot woot. It feels like life is cracking open and rising up and falling apart all in a mystical mess of re-birth. Does that make sense?

  6. I often think the Universe sends us these little gifts to remind us all now and again to take stock, slow down and enjoy the scenery.. Yes we all return home, much better to enjoy the views we have along the way! 🙂 and savour our time in the present.. 🙂

Sending you tons of love and added you to my healing book of thoughts Lorrie.. I will go visit Michael, as I catch up again with friends.. 🙂 Have a peaceful day .. Love and Blessings.. Sue ❤

    1. Yes, Sue, they are little gifts! Each and every one of them 🙂 I am so aware of nature and all of God’s creatures. I’m so lucky to live in a place where a turtle can visit, or an iguana can wink at me! The snakes…well…I’m grateful for them too…I just don’t want to get up close and personal with them! Thank you for your beautiful healing thoughts…I will soak up that energy and add it to my own and be all better in no time! ♡
