Ah! Hello my friends. I just read a post by my dear friend, Michael, from Embracing Forever. So many times his writing is an arrow that goes directly to my heart.
This post just capped off a beautiful week for me, one of trust, love and healing. It reminded me of an encounter I had at my pool, the day prior to my surgery. I was reminded I took photos of my visitor and of the feeling of peace and comfort my little friend provided.
When I read Michael’s post it all felt so synergistic! I was inspired to write this multiple haiku and to share it all with you. Do, please, check out Michael’s home if you have not already. Enjoy!! 🙂

Oh wow, you had a turtle come right up to your pool/place? That’s great. My son would have loved that. I liked what you said about fear being made up in the mind. It’s so true, isn’t it? Fear, like many feelings, can often blind us, don’t you think? I’m glad the turtle served to bring you some comfort and tranquility before going in for surgery Lorrie.

Yes, Sue, they are little gifts! Each and every one of them 🙂 I am so aware of nature and all of God’s creatures. I’m so lucky to live in a place where a turtle can visit, or an iguana can wink at me! The snakes…well…I’m grateful for them too…I just don’t want to get up close and personal with them! Thank you for your beautiful healing thoughts…I will soak up that energy and add it to my own and be all better in no time! ♡
