Two Hands ~ Limitless Minds

A collaboration with Harlon Davey at http://apatientvoice.com

20150619_105854Harlon

If I asked you to believe

Would you take my hand

And hold on tight

And let your mind be free?

If I asked you if you were certain

That you would stay with me

While we traveled through our minds and spirits

Would you still feel free?

If I asked you to walk to the place that light touches

Where Angel wings flutter

And I held your heart in the essence of Love

Would you be willing to meet your soul?

If I said to you

that I’ve been lost so long

Would you still hold on to my hand so I can feel safe

and together we will be found?

I will stay with you, and I will hold on to you

While we both let go

Searching forces truth

to slip through the cracks of our minds

And we will cross this threshold together

We had so much fun with this collaboration 🙂  If you have never visited Harlon at his site A Patient Voice, I urge you to do so.  He makes me laugh, he makes me cry, he makes me think!  Intimately familiar with the healthcare system, he is a huge advocate and “Voice” for patients everywhere.  I am grateful for our connection and I think you will be also. <3

    1. Oh, Val. Thank you for your ever present support! I love how the universe provides what we need…always! I hope your world is full of love and wonder! <3

    1. Yes, Kim. It is exciting because you are not really sure where it will go, and there is always a little fear about how you will “measure up” so to speak. But then it does take a life and energy of its own and it becomes exactly what it was meant to be! Thank you, Kim! <3

    1. Hi Hariod! It really was a pleasure to work with Harlon. He was so supportive and “patient.” 🙂 I’m happy you enjoyed it…another beautiful connection <3

    1. Ah! I must admit Brad, that I too try to decipher which words belong to each person in a collaboration!! That makes me giggle 🙂 Thank you so much, I am very happy you liked this poem and I am very happy that you will go to visit Harlon. I’ve a feeling you will like it there 😉 Have a super wonderful rest of the week Brad! <3

    1. Hi Staci…thank you so much 🙂 It was a lot of fun and we worked well together. We each took only a “handful” (pun intended 🙂 ) of photographs and it was amazing how they complemented each other! Hope you are having a creative lovely week!! <3

      1. Thank you Lorrie. Actually, yes. I am having a very creative week. Thankfully. I will be traveling to tomorrow and am super busy preparing for that (will be gone a week and a half). However, I just posted one mixed media piece with poem yesterday, and then finished another mixed media piece last night that I’m super excited about. I really want to post it now, but I don’t like to usually post every day so I’m trying to hold out until I get back. I really love this one though. I can’t wait until I finish the poem I want to go with it. I’ll give you a little insight though. It’s called, “Eternity in her heart” 🙂 Anyhow, I love these creative streaks. It’s like an addiction, don’t you think.
Have a great day and weekend Lorrie and many blessings.
        🙂 <3
