The big thing I learned

If it exists inside me

I see it elsewhere ~

9/18/15

I have been going through a very accelerated growth of late.  I am sure it has a lot to do with the passing of Dr. Wayne Dyer.  I was supposed to meet him tonight.  Instead, Hay House will have a celebration of his life which they will air on their website.  My first thought was to not go.  And then it was almost as if I could hear his voice, “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”

And in that instant my heart changed and I knew that I was so blessed to be able to attend this gathering where every single person would be filled with love and honor.  It will be an environment that fosters miracles and I will be ready because I expect one!!  I am BLESSITUDE ~ so blessed and full of gratitude!  Thank you, Wayne 😉  I’ve a feeling your teaching has really just begun!

  1. I think that will be a wonderful place to be tonight. For 30 years I’ve Had Wayne Dyer “in my life”…. lol, I felt like I lost a friend when I heard that he had died. It’s true though that he has impacted so many of us in the best ways and that lives on..and I’m sure he does too, somewhere

    1. Yes!! Cynthia…I agree with you completely, and I also felt as though I lost a best friend 🙁
I think tonight will be amazing. ..it is being broadcast live at Hay House.com. Thank you so much for adding here ♡♡

      1. Yes it is…Hi Lorrie! Smiling confuses the ones who wonder what they missed, and confounds the “sour pusses” who don’t smile much at all!

We gain a lot by just smiling during the day.

        Have a great one Lorrie!
        Steve 🙂 🙂

    1. 🙂 🙂 Thanks Kim!! I’m so grateful for the shift…and feel so much love from the ‘lesson!’ Hope all is well with you and that you will be able to ‘see things differently’ whenever you need to!! ♡

  2. Wonderful, and as I am experiencing something that feels like accelerated growth myself, I think your observation “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” is very profound. Blessitude – if I may be so bold to use your great word 🙂 Harlon

    1. Oh, dear Harlon…Thank you!! And I am so happy for your growth…just make surer to be really gentle with yourself as this kind of growth, in my experience, is not without some struggle.

As for the quote…that is full on Dr. Dyer’s…and I think it is one of the best quotes of all time…such truth 🙂

And BLESSITUDE….PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE…use it all you wish…I simply love to see other people use it…I feel the word has such good energy (partially because that was my intention!!) 😉

Much live to you my friend ♡♡

  3. Oh my gosh, that’s so true. This Haiku says it all Lorrie. Almost like the idea of becoming like our parents. You always here things like, ‘I’ll never become like my mother/father’ and then all of a sudden you recognize that you are just like them. We do have a choice to make. We don’t have to succumb to unhealthy thought patterns and attitudes. We can choose to be different. I hope you have a lovely evening.
    🙂 <3

    1. Ah! Staci!! 🙂 I love the way you incorporated becoming like our parents…I just had a whole conversation with a stranger about that yesterday; )

We really do have a choice…and it is funny because for many years I didn’t think that was true…and that was what kept that energy around me!!

I’m so excited about tonight…I can hardly believe I am able to be there 🙂 Thank you my friend…I hope your weekend is full of love and laughter ♡♡

        1. I will sweet one. Probably end of this week or next…it is always a lot of work making the transition…and I’m finishing a little vacation at Disney World!! 😉 ♡♡

  4. Oh there will be so Soooooooooooo much energy and positivity there Lorrie, I am quiet envious of you being among such like minded people, And of course Wayne will be there 🙂 infusing you all with even more Love.
Have a Blessed time, and a Blessed weekend xxx Love <3 Sue xxx

    1. Hi Sue!!! I wish you could be here with me…I really do!! I’m very excited and do believe, as you said, Wayne will be there!!! 🙂 Hayhouse.com is streaming the event live…6:30 ET…I suppose that would be pretty late for you. I promise to send beautiful healing energy to you tonight….energy knows no distance…and no time!!! Much love my friend! ♡♡

      1. I am unsure of the time difference Lorrie, but I do so thank you for sending my way, I will be sure to receive it.. And yes Energy knows no distance or time barrier.. Much Love right back <3 Many Many Thanks

  5. Wonderful that you went! I’ve been rereading some of his books (I have all of them, I think) now, and find new wisdom every time I open a book. Have a blessed week, Lorrie <3

    1. Ah…Tiny…thanks!! It was truly beautiful…and so obvious how much he meant to his colleagues. When his daughter sang at the end with his family on the stage…I lost it!! So so happy I was able to attend!! Hope your Sunday is beautiful ♡
I will forever cherish every word he has ever written!! 😉

  6. I’m feeling so excited for you, and feeling the good energy….ripples of love and light and hope from Wayne to you and extending out into the Universe, connecting with the love, light and hope of others. It feels great! Thank you for sharing your journey! Looking forward to reading more about your adventures 🙂

    1. Oh, JoAnna…I am so happy you can feel that energy!!! 🙂 It has been a very special time for me…in one way I am still incredibly sad that I did not get to meet him…but in a very strange way I feel I connected to his spirit in a very clear, precise way leading up to this weekend. And I’ve a feeling that this connection will be lasting…and that Dr. Wayne’s work in this world is truly not done!!
Thank you so much for letting me know you feel this wonderful energy! I am Blessitude ♡

  7. You are always so awe-inspiring and enchanting dear ( deer ) Lorrie …I’m so filled with your joy that you so poetically express and I know it is in your lovely heart , thank you so much , love , megxxx

    1. Thank you so much, Meg! Wow! I am awe-inspired by your comment and I am so happy that our souls have connected in a very deep, truthful, meaningful way!! I wish you so much joy…and peace ♡♡

  8. Hi Lorrie,

What a great turnaround, particularly considering you were on the verge of meeting him, and then had the whole tenor of the moment transform. I could see that being a pretty hard thing to bless….But as maybe you have said already and perhaps others above, on the other hand what a beautiful night to witness the way Wayne’s love multiplied in this world… Quite a powerful lesson…

    Wishing you a splendid evening!
    Peace
    Michael

    1. Oh, Michael…it was truly a gift to be able to have been there! I was filled with so much love…and to be honest I feel just as connected to him as I ever have. I think we don’t have to meet in the flesh to know one another…just as I feel connected to you and other bloggers whom I have never met…it doesn’t mean we don’t KNOW each other! I also attended the next day of the conference and found it to be so wonderful. Now one more day of vacation in Disney and back to the real world…hehe! Have a wonderful rest of the week!

  9. I am glad I got to drop in on you today sweet Lorrie. I love it when I get here to find a Haiku post. You always have such wonderful writings and pictures. Hope you are doing well. Love, hugs and blessings.

    1. Thank you sweet Maggie 😉 I’m so happy you enjoyed it. I am doing well…transitioning back south so I have not been here much…miss my friends. Sending you wonderful thoughts ♡

  10. Oh Lorrie, I know what you mean. His passing has affected me deeply too. I have used that quote of his in my work and I did watch some of the Live Stream. It must have been a powerful experience to be there in person. I imagine he is doing some pretty amazing and profound teaching from the other side; he is just getting started! Love and hugs to you from Vancouver….Lisa

    1. It was amazing to be there…especially when his beautiful family joined on the stage and his daughter sang his favorite song…waterworks!!! 😉 I believe that you are correct…he truly is just getting started! Blessings!
