Child of my child
Do not dwell in fear
and cast a shadow
on this auspicious time
We all return from whence we came
the journey can not reach a conclusion
until certain conditions have been met
Lying in the dark
with eyes that can not see
a spark of grace
melted the fear
and the child within
spoke in a tiny voice
All of the anger
suddenly vanished
and the only language left between the two
was one of which
no words were necessary
UNDERSTANDING
CONNECTION
The bond that has always been
wrapped itself and braided in strength
in the eternal ether of love
The human forms reversed
the lessons of a lifetime celebrated with joy
and the ability to touch with meaning
restored by a faith
that does not see with eyes
and speaks with
SILENT WORDS
Blessitude!
Lorrie <3

Sending love to melt the fear and wishing those in the path of Hurricane Irma awareness and safety. <3
Nice Lorrie, very nice.
Thank you 💛 Hope this Sunday finds you bathed in light!
We are and our hope is the same for you also. Be safe Lorrie.
Thank you…I postponed our trip back to Fl…i certainly hope you are out of the storm’s way 💛
Yes, we were ready to head there Friday morning when we got the call that the State was basically closed. We’re waiting till it opens again to head down to be with family.
This brings peace, joy, and a smile to my heart. I’m glad you are safe. And that BEAUTIFUL picture! Wow! Did you make that?
That makes me Happy, Joanna 😁 And I am also happy that we are not riding that storm out…I continue to pray that Irma weakens.
Thanks for the kudos on the print 😊 I did draw it…pen and ink…and then manipulated it in an art program. I’ve had the drawing for quite some time…and never felt like it was ‘done.’ I knew it was perfect for this post and was going to hand ‘color’ when I had the idea to try it digitally. I like how it came out and feel I couldn’t have made it better by hand. And I still have the print so I can play with it another time 😊. Thanks for stopping by and commenting….hope the upcoming week is a great one! 💜
I know what you mean about feeling like something is not done. I’ve come back to things months or even years later when the time is right. 🙂 I especially like how your picture glows! <3
Thanks, JoAnna…i really appreciate your artistic eye 😁
💜
Beautiful Lorrie! I love the idea of silent words. So much more is spoken without words. What a journey! With love, Sharon
Hi Sharon! I’m so happy these written words about silent words touched you 😁 We are on an incredible journey and for those who recognize it, it is so powerful! Happy to connect and share the road with you 💜
Hi Lorrie, what a gorgeous message back. It is an incredible journey! Lovely to connect with you also xx
Delicious words and image Lorrie. I too am glad you’re out of harm’s way. Silent connections can be so wonderful. I’m grateful to have a few friends with whom we can share silence that connects beyond the need for words.
And to hear that from you, Brad, makes my heart smile a little brighter this morning 😊 We truly have the ability to connect like this with every human…but not every human is ready and that is just the way it is. All at different places in the journey…everything exactly as it should be. But when we do connect like this it is a powerful, incredible feeling.
Sending a smile and blessings for a great week 💜
Agreed Lorrie. I hope to share more of those deliciously sweet silences. <3
This is a beautiful tribute to those who are in the path of Irma, Lorrie <3
Thanks, Christy! I’m so happy you stopped by…and I’m so grateful that Irma’s punch was not as hard as they predicted. Now on to clean up and repairs for those affected. Blessings 💜
I’m glad all is well for you <3 and very very cool picture, beautiful <3
Thank you!!!!! I should have included the black & white drawing before I manipulated it. I’m happy you made it through Irma!! 💜 Be safe out there!
Beautiful post and my heart goes out to everyone in the path of Irma as the clean up begins!!
Thank you, Kirt 💜 Yes, this clean up will be a major project. Hope the rest of your week is good.
Dearest Lorrie, such beautiful words that bring their own peace… I am pleased you are well, And to all those in the USA and the Caribbean my heart goes out to them that lost loved ones and their entire homes and everything..
Sending Love and Hugs Lorrie. and I am so pleased you are safe. <3
Thank you Sue, my friend! Yes…the devastation is major and I am very blessed…and grateful that the timing of the storm allowed me to cancel my plans to return to Florida. One or two days different and I would have been there. My heart also goes out to those who have lost people…and things. You almost have feelings of survivor guilt…especially when the storm was originally headed for my town. I know people who traveled to the west coast of Florida…and then had to travel back when the storm changed direction. So unpredictable…so powerful.
Many blessings to you…thank you for your kind words…and your friendship 😁😁
💜💜
Seems like you were well protected dear Lorrie, and someone was looking out for Sending love for a continued beautiful week .. <3

Beautifully written Lorrie!! Love it…have a great week!
😊 Thanks, Kirt! I just 5 minutes ago started my vacation…and I couldn’t be happier…it is much needed. Time to sit back and connect. Have a blessed week 💜
You also….enjoy!!
It is an auspicious time, isn’t it? Ha! Some days it doesn’t compute. Some days it’s all flying past outside the window. Some days the window is flying past, too. And some days we realize something is holding still, and we feel this endless flow of grace, lined up inside us like the most glorious traffic jam, just waiting to be known…
Peace, Lorrie. Hope you are well!
With Love
Michael
Hi Michael! So happy to feel your connection and energy 😁 Your words, as always, sing a symphony of love and paint pictures I can see with my heart!!💛
I am navigating…that is the best way to describe life at this time…but I am ever faithful that this is all part of my journey…part of my learning…and I embrace it with love!
Hurricane Irma affected our timeline for returning to Florida. I had intended to write about it…but life got in the way. I hope to get busy blogging and working on my various projects…soon!
I hope you and your family are well. It is so nice to see you…I’ve thought of you several times over the last week.
Much love in return 💛☀️💛
So thankful Lorrie that you made it through the hurricane! 💗 So many people affected, so much energy, and wow have times been intense since our solar eclipse in August. Your lovely presence is a comfort to many! Looking forward to your upcoming blog, and so glad, again, for your well-being! 💜
Thank you beautiful, Ka!! Yes…the energies have been intense…no doubt! So many people have lost so much…it hurts to think about it. We were very blessed and all is mostly back to normal here…with the exception of lots and lots of like a of debris from the storm.
Sending lots of loving and peaceful energy my friend. Hope all is SUPER DUPER wonderful in your world 💜💜
Just to let you know that I am leaving the Blogosphere. My health is declining. I’ve been going down the drain for several weeks. I will post to my Photography Blog Roaming Urban Gypsy if possible but my writing blog is done. At least now I can stop lying to myself and everyone else. The facade has come down and crashed.
I will keep you in my prayers, Deborah _/\_
💜
Thanks for everything. I’m at hospital now.
Try to work through this difficult time and learn the lessons that are presented. Life can become really hard sometimes…but you have to remember times in the past when you thought you couldn’t make it through…AND YOU DID!! Sending white healing energy!
I think what caused my high blood pressure to go haywire is all the stress I’ve been under. The more my anxiety and depression increases the more my body gets thrown off course. Here’s to Soul Food healing energy!
