Fire-in-the-sky-sunset

And the birds suddenly stopped singing

And the silence was stark

And the news that was spread

Touched the hearts of all who had them open

Listen to the voice of love

And feel the truth of creation that wells up inside your soul

This is when you know

That you have touched that place of authenticity

That place that resonates in perfect sync

With the whole of creation

And you see the ways we are different

Only emphasize the ways we are the same

And you reach your hand to your brother

And the love and help you offer

Is a blessing from on high

And the feeling of grace floats

From a deep pool that exists inside you

A place that you know and recognize

Every time you feel it

And you know you want to stay there

But somehow you find your feet firmly planted

In the dry cracked earth

And a tear that wells and gently drops

Finds the place that most needs watering

And a tiny sprout springs up

With a memory of yesterday

And with hope that it will grow

With love, joy, and peace

And spread these virtues to humanity as a whole

And you breathe a sigh of relief

As you notice you left a trail of tiny crumbs

And you say a sweet blessing

As you walk the path back to truth

And light invades the space

Illuminating the way

And the feelings of grace and gratitude

Fill your soul

And you vow to remember

VOW TO REMEMBER

WHO you are…

WHERE you came from…

and

WHY YOU ARE HERE!

  12. I left the page open this morning and finally at 9 pm, finally sat down to read this. You write beautiful poetry. Those are three very good things to remember. I know who I am and where I came from, the why I’m here is one that often troubles me, then I remember it’s to feel the joy of being alive. It’s been another wonderfilled day. Hope yours are as well.
