TODAY’S B.S. CAN BE TOMORROW’S TRUTH

Wild-Bull-at-the-Rodeo

The energy emanates

Out into the ether

The truth can not be obscured

The truth will resonate

To those who see it

And those who see it

Will send it back trifold

You can fake it till you make it

You will reap what you sow

You will be what you believe

You will be seen by what you vibrate!

Blessitude!

This transformation business is hard!

You have to think it, to create it, but you have these hidden beliefs that prevent you from REALLY manifesting.

I believe people are pretty good at detecting bull____.  I like to think that I am as well.

But what constitutes as B.S.? Is it the fact that I say I love myself now, but in truth there are still layers and layers of pain and uncleared false beliefs that interfere with the absolute declaration?

If I say I love myself unconditionally, does your B.S. meter jump to high? Mine does.

I am a work in progress and I am proud of where I am, right now, in this moment! I bet your meter didn’t move at all on that statement.

What I am trying to say is that on this journey we call life, we make changes incrementally. It is a dynamic process that takes into account life experiences – past and present, awareness, and our willingness to change.

I do love myself and yet I continue to work on beliefs, or assumptions, I made about life while experiencing some of the most difficult things you can think of.

Sometimes you have to fake it till you make it, but if you BELIEVE and WORK HARD you can change your life for the better. It is in your control.

On the journey of healing, what feels like B.S. today, truly can be tomorrow’s truth!

~Lorrie

    1. Hi Brad! I hesitated to use the title…but it made sense! And how lucky that I had recently attended a rodeo so I had a video of one wild bull who did not want to leave the ring. And some B.S. is like that…really stubborn…hard to get rid of.
We are all a work in progress 🙂
Hope you are dealing with yours!! <3

  1. I love your main point here!!! It’s so spot on! “Today’s BS can be tomorrow’s truth”. I dialed right into the truth of that one! I am with you Lorrie…. process! 💖💖💖💖 love your words, flow, expressions! I find this especially true when I do affirmations, something I was never quite fully comfortable with but I do recognize how it can work by clearing out what is not in alignment with the statements.

    1. Hello beautiful, Ka!! 🙂 How are you feeling??? I have a giant smile on my face when I think of you and the journey you have started!!
Yes, I agree about the affirmations. I try to use them…could do better. But when you start with one that doesn’t feel like truth you can tell in your body! But with practice…and BELIEF that it can be so(such a key ingredient) the B.S. turns to TRUTH!
I’m so happy to hear from you and hope that all is super wonderful!! <3 <3

  2. Happy Palm Sunday 🌞 😊😎 and joyful Holy Week! Grace, Peace and Blessings! Stephen and I completed a 5k to benefit Queens Centers for Progress. QCP is an agency that provides services and programs for those with developmentally disabilities. Sibling Team Palmer 5K Walk!

    1. Hi DeBorah!!! That is so great!! I have thought about you and how you are doing in your retirement 🙂 It sounds great…and I hope that Stephen is well…I am certain he was so happy to be a part of this WITH you!
And yes!! Happy Palm Sunday and joyful Holy Week to you too!! 🙂 <3

      1. In January I started working part time at the Brooklyn Public Library. I’m a Community Liaison doing Outreach for the Library High School Equivalency Diploma classes. Half the time I gather research to assist the Case Managers and the rest I’m out in the field meeting and greeting the people. I Love My Job!

  3. The wall of words wordsmith (moi) has absolutely nothing to add to what you wrote, it was said, expressed and “truthed” to perfection. In other words, there was no BS. <3 xoxo

    1. Hahaha!! KIMBA!!! My friend, how are you??
Time flies…but life goes on…yes? I hope that you have been on the good side of things. Seriously, I hope that life has been smiling on you 💜💜

  4. I remember my 6th grade teacher telling us often that to be confident, first you have to pretend to have confidence, and then it will come. I always found that fascinating and still use it when I’m pushed out of my comfort zone which is pretty darn often these days.

    1. What great advice to hear at that age! You had the benefit of a great teacher…you always remembered this advice! Thanks for adding here, Kristen. Hope things are going well for you…enjoy the rest of your day 😁

  5. Oh do I relate, Lorrie. So many years of constant inner work, and still no sign of reaping what I am sowing. I did not give up however. Suddenly, after such a long time, BAM! One thing after another. Wall after wall fell. Things I thought that I would not see I’ve seen. And then people with Hearts of Gold reaching out to me offering their help with everything Hubby and I do for our cats. For so long I had to fight so hard to stand for what I know is to be right and true. Now suddenly I am surrounded by “new” people who more then get it and they themselves are doing their best in this messed up world in making a difference. It feels like I’ve walked into a brand new world, one that is shiny and kind. I encourage you to keep doing the work. LOVE yourself for who you are in the Moment. Do you have flaws? Heck yes! All of us do but some of us are working hard to change those flaws to our Greatest Strengths. Keep on shining, dear friend. I’m right there with you working on me, the hardest work I’ve ever done in my life. BIG (((HUGS)))!!! and know you are truly LOVED in this Moment! 😘😘😘

    1. You brought tears to my eyes, Amy! You touched that place…TRUTH! I can feel the light and beauty that you are emanating and I couldn’t be more happy for You! Oh…and to hear that the people you are attracting are so wonderful!! That is what I would call progress, Amy! Really good progress…forward movement. The hard work pays off…you are a testament!
Happy the weather will change for you soon…so you can get back out into nature and bring us your awesome captures!
      Much love 💜💜

  6. You’ve made some excellent points here that make me feel even more accepting of those times when I forget to love myself or others. But we’ve come a long way from where we were. The “fake it til you make it” or “act as if” strategy has worked for me in times when I asked myself, what would I do if I were confident. Now, can ask that part of me who is confident, courageous, playful and/or loving to come forth. Overall, I do love myself unconditionally, but I forget briefly. It’s like a parent who loves a child but gets exasperated. With all the successes and imperfections, the love is always there. Love is always here. Let’s feel it! <3

    1. Yes…YES…YES! It is always there, JoAnna…and you describe it so perfectly liking it to an exasperated parent. Aren’t we lucky that our Father never treats us this way!
I think the most profound truth is that we ARE LOVE and then life gets in the way. Circumstances create defenses and in a need to make sense we choose falsely. If we are lucky we don’t completely lose touch with the essence of our being…our connection to the Magnificence of Creation!
Many sweet blessings to you, my friend. May you always know your light 💜

  7. Thank you Lorrie for this though provoking piece. Believing and hard work … and big slice of kindness, forgiveness and surrender are part of the journey. Where there is BS and judgment, there is no room for love. 💕

  8. I love this ~ so very true and agree with your statement that “we make changes incrementally” it is like the kaizen philosophy in a way, always seeking continual improvement and by doing so over time seeing very tangible results. And by doing this, we are able to see through the BS of life a bit better and it makes for a much healthier tomorrow. Cheers to a great coming Easter weekend.

  9. A long journey begins with just one step…..continues with just one step after another and completes with just one step! Keep after it….have a blessed week!!

  10. Excellent point about how our internal BS meter can guide us. It’s so crazy that our minds cannot impose their wills and simply undo those deeply held beliefs with a mantra or two. They can, of course, it just does take time in this realm we live in today. Compassion for ourselves is so important, and I’m a firm believer that we can bring about profound healing by following that BS meter to the points of resistance, and working with them tenderly–not trying to bully them from view. This is how we bring our hearts and minds into alignment I think. Your heart will always say yes when asked if it loves you–the resistance is the awareness of conflict between thoughts we’ve accepted as being correct, or valid, and what the heart holds safe for us forever…

    Peace
    Michael

    1. Beautiful, Michael…and I needed to hear this even more 😉
I sometimes wonder why it has to be this way…but then I stop because it all has meaning and every single thing has a purpose.
Keep working hard…I know you will discover what is in each room and your writing will be fantastic…as always 😁
      Much love and light!

  11. Dearest Lorrie, its taken me a while to get here my friend, but well worth the wait.
We all still have our shovels in hand my friend, 🙂 and we are indeed ALL of us works in progress, Each of us perfecting what we feel are imperfections, Yet in Truth we are perfect.. For our faults have made us who we are.. We only learn from our mistakes..
This Earth Life is the toughest zone in which we are at the lowest of our vibration in 3D, we are learning, letting go of past life mistakes, which we have each come to learn and make amends in some way.

Now Karma is working its way faster than ever and as we peel those layers ever deeper to the core of our wounds..

Yes its not an easy journey, far from it. but its one that we chose to be on at this great time of change Lorrie..
What was yesterdays Truth will indeed change Tomorrow and the day after that, because Change is constant..
But understanding deeper truths, the real bones of truth will not change, and that is the difference, As one great wise man said.. The Truth WILL set you free, it is the understanding of it and hearing it that is hard.
Because it shatters all that we were taught, and makes all else seem a lie..

This dear Lorrie is the journey we are on, uncovering who we really are.. understanding Who we are.. then accepting WHO WE ARE..

Sending you so much love my friend.. Hold tight, have faith, and stay Blessed my friend, the Roller coaster is about to take more dips and turns in the world.
Do not be fearful.. And remember.. YOU are an Eternal BE-ing of Light.. <3 <3 <3
    Love and Blessings
    Sue <3

    1. Hi Sue! Thank you so much for your wisdom and for sharing a piece of your soul here. I love when you leave your energy here…and I love when I see you in my inbox because I know that I will be truly blessed by your words.
Yes…the shovel! It’s good to keep the shovel handy 😉 And on our journey of enlightenment there is sure to be times that we need to use it. I am grateful for all of the STUFF that makes me…me. I am learning to embrace every nook and cranny and every eye opening experience.
I had reason to look back recently and I was amazed at how far I have traveled! It is a journey and the shovel is helpful.
The world seems unstable…the U.S. is divided and it hurts my heart. I do feel CHANGE…and I am trying to adapt. Thanks for your love and guidance…and yes…I still work on the fear!
I hope you are well. I hope that life caresses you with love and that you know your beauty!
I just realized this weekend is mother’s day….so much energy surrounds that!
My sweetest blessings to you, Sue! Much love and light! 💜☀️🌻

      1. Sometimes the world has to lose its balance and become unstable for it to regroup and find itself again…
The old ways of being are crumbling Lorrie and its not going to be pretty.. In fact it will be scary.. But we have to understand the need for the old to fall apart is the need for it to be rebuilt…
Many thanks for your complimentary words my friend,, they mean much <3
