AN EASTER PRAYER FOR RENEWAL

Dawning
Infinite fathoms
Time suspended
Ethereal glance of passion

Grace realized
Wrapped in kindness
A gentle touch
Creation

Glory to the Heavens
An Angel’s harp
Witness to the expression
In the moment of sacrifice

On bended knee
Faith and devotion
Surrender
Trust
ETERNAL LIFE

Spring is upon us and as we think about Easter and Jesus’ resurrection, the word renewal comes to mind.

Renew: to give fresh life or strength to; revive

I say a prayer that each and every one of you can feel the energy of renewal in your life.

I pray that you can overcome all obstacles that have been placed on your path.

I pray that your broken heart can get some relief and that the grief will abate enough for you to breathe.

I pray that you feel love and that you have the support you need to face any challenge.

I pray that during this time of renewal you will peel off the layers that are heavy and keep you down, so that you can RISE and live your best life!

  10. Thank you so much for your prayers, Lorrie. I have felt a little bit down about three people I know dying in the past week. Two were elderly and ready to go. One was my age – someone I went to high school with. Your words reinforce that I have a great deal to be thankful for and can be renewed by the realization that LIFE IS PRECIOUS and to be lived fully while we are here.     1. Ah…I’m so sorry for your losses, JoAnna. I understand what you said about the elderly who were ready to go, but it hurts no matter. The other one, I would imagine is a bit more shocking as they were close to you in age and you have known them for so long. It seems there is so much loss all around us. And yes, it is a reminder that we have to be fully present and aware in each moment. We think we have so much time and put things off and then one day we will wake up and look more and more like our mothers and say, “Where did the time go?”

  17. Beautiful post and poem! You prayer touches everybody, such is this time.
    I didn’t recognize you at first in the new photo, but it looks very good, indeed.
    Therefore, I take you are fine now and the strong you is back.
    It is a while since I checked out blogs of my friends, got surgery and vaccine a while after that, and I suppose, the combined side effects kept me tired, but I’m back, too.

    1. Hi Inese!! Thank you so much…and yes…I am feeling much stronger 😊 And my son has been here visiting for the past few days…the first time I have seen him in well over a year…the longest I have ever gone not seeing him! He leaves today 😔
      I hope that you feel renewed and that you get stronger and stronger every day. A sugery…and then the vaccine…is a lot for the body to clean up so take it easy and listen to whatever your body tells you.
      I love how you said “the strong you is back!” It seems we do swing back and forth between the strong…and the vulnerable…it’s all good. Life teaches us so much!!
