A TRIED AND TRUE WAY
TO REACH THE DESTINATION
IS TO GET ON TRACK!
That saying came up in a card reading today and it made me think about what it means.
I saw railroad tracks, even though I am sure there are many others.
Tracks are laid to get from one destination to another. They do not deviate. Hard steel rails, placed just so, take you from point A to point B. The only chance for a different destination is if you change your mind and get off sooner.
I never realized how much I longed to be on a track – to have a true destination in mind and then do all the things necessary to get there.
I assuaged my conscience by believing or trying to believe that I was a gypsy, roaming the plains, going wherever the wind blew me.
THE WAY IS TRUE AND DEFINITE
WHEN YOU KNOW WHERE
YOU WANT TO GO
That worked for me, I suppose because I wanted it to. Now, I realize how much more focused life can be when you have a destination in mind.

That’s so exciting, Lorrie! I love your track analogy – as usual, we are in sync. I am currently drawing a locomotive maze – and last week, I received an email from an interested publisher! It’s not a for sure thing, but it sure motivated me to continue on my amazing track!
