I recently finished my 12-week Pilot Experience, COURAGE TO CREATE!, and it was a beautiful deep-dive into the relationship between the creator and the created. I learned so much and will incorporate it all into the program to make it the best it can be.
One of the Critical Shifts in the program is: Take Back Your Power. What is our personal power? I believe our personal power lives in our self-dominion.
Dominion definition: sovereignty or control
Sovereignty definition: possessing supreme or ultimate power
Each of us has an essence of BEING – the truth of ourselves – the “I” that travels the earth school. All our thoughts, choices, and ultimate decisions in major life situations dictate the trajectory of our lives.
When we live in and from our Sovereignty, we walk our path connected to the Magnificent Energy of Creation. It is a powerful connection that allows us to move with clarity, peace and purpose. We know who we are, what we want, and have steadfast determination to achieve those things.
The moment we give away our power to others, we break that connection. The more we allow other humans to affect our thinking, the more we allow them to define our worth. The more we allow them to define our worth, the more we walk away from our truth and our Destiny. The further we walk away, the harder it is to hear our connection with the Divine.
The journey away from self begins the moment we hand our personal power – our self-dominion – over to others. The journey away from self is the journey away from truth!
We must reclaim our personal power if we are to live our lives in truth – in alignment with our purpose. When we come home to our autonomy, we rekindle our relationship with the Divine. We open our hearts and we HEAR truth – OUR TRUTH!
We walk in purpose, and our faith is restored. We strengthen the dynamic relationship with our Spirit and no matter how loud the world gets; we remain unshaken.
We have a straightforward choice to make:
1). We can continue to give our power over to others by making decisions based on what they think, and create an inauthentic life filled with insecurity and disconnection.
or,
2). We can reconnect to the truth of our soul, take back our autonomy and make decisions from our sacred self-dominion, and live our lives walking in and on purpose.
The answer seems simple to me.

Hi Mark! It’s funny to me how we can walk so far away from our truth, and yet, always have that sense of what we walked away from! I knew from a very young age that I knew God…Spirit. And then all the yucky things of life got in the way and forced me away from the truth…from myself!! The journey back home is full. Full of love and enlightenment. Full of joy and painful truths. And yet, it is a journey that I would take – over and over again – to get to the place where I am now. It’s hard to put it in words, but the feeling is connected. I am connected to my truth, connected to the love and guidance of the Divine!

It is a profound journey Lorrie, to take us so low and then realise we need to see its pain in all those conditions we place on ourselves so that we can understand the unconditional love in going through it. It’s a beautiful place to live, isn’t it? I can remember when I first started on this journey I felt like I knew things that I just could not express.
