  1. Oh, I’m sure it’s not so evil… I imagine it can see your beautiful soul and say “eh, look at these lorriful wonderful colors” 🙂 🙂 take care & much love to you ♥♥

    1. Thank you dearest!!! I woke and thought I would post this palm tree..then I saw your post and knew that I must!! I don’t really think it’s evil…it just reminded me of jewelry I have seen with beads that look like this…I think they call them “evil eyes” but I think they are supposed to be good luck. Anybody out there know more about them??

      Thanks dearest Frédéric…. <3 <3
      🙂

      1. Oh yes, I do. I first saw them when in Istanbul, Turkey. It is called evil eye. You have a keen eye to catch that in this tree Lorrie. It’s a good luck charm to protect against evil. Like a superstition. The ones in Turkey are blue. I don’t know if they’re all blue from other countries and such though. Anyhow, that’s my 2 cents worth.
        🙂

        1. Thank you Staci…I didn’t know how they originated or where…but I thought it was like a superstition. It’s funny how they include the word “evil” to ward it off!

Thanks for adding your knowledge 🙂

    1. No…not afraid…but maybe it’s symbolic for the introspection I am going through….hmmmmm! 😉 There are no mistakes in nature! Thanks for looking and commenting! 🙂

  2. Aw, hehe, October can be a scary month, Lorrie. But seriously, those ‘palm eyes’ do look a bit…hmm…uncanny? Ahaha! 😀
Loved this haiku! I can sense that you’re happy today! <3
    How is your health now?

    1. I think it sees ALL!! I do have feelings about trees being all knowing…full of wisdom…full of energy! They hang out and observe EVERYTHING!! And this one…With all those eyes…..

Thank you so much for always being there! I wish a weekend for you that is spectacular! ! ♡♡♡

  3. Well hey, that is an evil I tree!!! Cyclops like of sorts no less. I wonder how many of you it sees – and if it sees through it’s evil eyes, the countless rainbows of light that surrounds you? 🙂

    1. Awww!! Thank you Kim…I love your words. You gave me a huge smile here this morning! Thinking of you and Georgie Girl…I keep you in that place surrounded by love and good thoughts 🙂 <3 <3

      1. Good morning! You’re welcome Lorrie, and thank you, you just gave me a huge smile. 😀 Thank you so much for keeping us in “that place.” <3 Her next surgery is this coming Tuesday *yikes* – here we go again! Much love you to honey. Have a SPLENDID (hehe) day! <3 <3 🙂

    1. And is their “bark” worse than their “bite?” 🙂 I just love when you add a new dimension…new links in your comments Me’lanie!! And the eyes are windows to the soul….I don’t usually need to see them as I can “feel” people’s energies…but if you look into them you can SEE a person…dreams….disappointments…joy… regrets. It is all there! Here’s to your weekend being full of love and wonderful things <3

      1. I like to see people smiling, Lady Lorrie… and I often try to cheer you up whenever I ‘feel’ you down… <3 something and someone will always deceive or disappoint us – sooner or later, but regrets and remorse over the past 'stuff' are always useless, vain, negative and non-constructive… if you look ahead and forward to catch a sight of your rainbow that will help you out to move on… 🙂 cheers, young lady! 😉

        1. You are an Angel dear Me’lanie! Your words of wisdom are so very beautiful and I appreciate your kind heart! Thank you for spreading cheer in the world. You live your life to the fullest …. it is obvious that you are full of love! <3 <3
