        1. Can you believe I have never been sailing? I’ve been on every kind of power boat you can imagine, Brad, but never on a sailboat. One day maybe 😉 But I must confess…I kind of like speed!!

              1. That’s probably why I have never done it …I don’t know any sailors and I would not try it by myself 🙂 One of my favorite things to do is jet-ski!! My friends have them and I went out in the ocean only once. The inlet is incredibly rough…like more than a few friends have fallen off the jet-ski and then you risk being slammed into concrete walls that are covered in barnacles! It was so much fun…but very scary too!

    1. Hi Cindy 🙂 Thank you so much! I love “light houses” and I always like to think they represent “light in our houses”…light from our souls. Super weekend ♡

  1. Awww, thanks Lorrie. And the same to you. Today is Valentine’s Day here in Brazil, sooooo happy Valentine’s t you, my friend.

      2. Hey Lorrie. I thought I’d let you know that I decided to take the plunge and do a mixed media course online. I’m loving it. I posted my latest piece just yesterday. I wanted to let you know because you’ve always been such an encourager to me with this.

  2. Thank you for that sweet Lorrie and what a gorgeous picture. Thank you so much for stopping by with anniversary wishes for us, you are so sweet. Sure do miss getting to visit you often. Hope you are doing well my dear friend and you are having a wonderful weekend. I am doing okay, just stay very busy but I will do my best to care for my Shug and do all he needs me to do. I manage every day to find some “me time” and that really perks me up and gets me going. Your comment was very encouraging to me…YOU are encouraging to me and I love you so much. Hugs and blessings dear Lorrie I will be back by when I get a chance. Take care. Mags

    1. Oh Mags!! What a beautiful blessing to wake and see you here!! I am so happy you find some time for yourself every day…that is so important! I truly think of you often…always with a smile on my face and a tug of my heart. I say a gentle prayer and release love into the universe. You are a remarkable soul and I feel so blessed to know you! I am walking on my journey and trying my best to heal from my health issues. I can’t do the physical things that I am used to doing, but I am trying to find other ways to stay active 🙂 Much love to you my friend. You brightened my day ♡♡

  3. Hi Lorrie,

So delightful to see you back at it after the interlude and your previous poem that seemed to be expressing some difficult waters you were navigating. Hope this finds you well. I liked the way you said “light in your house” and it just caught me when I read it… made me think of “our house” as something vast and supportive, like a kingdom whose flag we fly or the shield we carry. And in this sense, it was nice to consider we’re of the same house, and yes, it is always filled with light…

    Blessings
    Michael

    1. Wow!! Thank you Michael 🙂 This is such a beautiful sentiment for me to see this incredible Sunday morning! And yes…I believe we all occupy space in the same “house!” It is that wonderful collective space from which we all are one…all learning…all being…all living…all contributing. I got a gift on my 50th birthday…the time was a magical continuation of my spiritual evolution. It was a silver and gold bracelet that has the letters “VB” (for Virginia Beach where I was visiting) and it had a lighthouse as well. I rarely have taken it off since then, and this is how I view it:

      The letters stand for:
      “Very Blessed”
      The lighthouse stands for:
“May there always be light in my house!”

Thank you for the light you offer…it is absolutely blinding at times :)♡

    1. I am grateful for your love and healing thoughts, Sue!! I am in a powerful transitional phase…and I am so grateful for the love I feel and the healing I am receiving. I pray you feel many blessings in your life! <3
