Attached By Hope

For you are my brother,

my sister,

my friend

And we walk through this life

attached by hope

That we shall recognize a radiating life force

that was created by ONE!

We hold this power

in the palm of hands that long to grasp it,

but we gently release a grip of death

so that we can find the truth of the power,

the power of Creation,

extended to all,

through all,

inside us all!

I reach out my hand to touch you

I reach out my mind to connect to your beauty

and the colors of love wash through my being

And I know…

I know the Glory of Spirit

that courses through veins,

Powered by Love…

Held together by Faith

that we vibrate

in the energy of Creation…

We Are One!

      1. I’m very much looking forward to Christmas! I feel all Christmassy! πŸ’πŸŽ…πŸ½πŸŽ„πŸ•―β„οΈπŸŒΉβ˜ƒπŸŒŸπŸŽπŸ˜Š. I hope you are doing wonderfully too! πŸ’–πŸ’–. Huuuge hugs!

  1. This is beautiful Lorrie! I especially love the line, “I reach out my hand to touch you
I reach out my mind to connect to your beauty and the colors of love wash through my being And I know…” I hope you have a lovely week.
    Blessings and Peace

    1. Hi Mary!! Thank you so much πŸ™‚ And I love that you zeroed in on that line…it was my favorite too!! Hope all is well with you. I am grateful for your presence here! <3

  2. Oh Lorrie, how beautiful and a sentiment that I think I and it seems many around me, can easily disconnect ourselves from and feel that we are in this alone. I love your gentle reminders about the beauty we can find in life and in this posting – the reminder that we don’t have to do it alone and it doesn’t always have to be a struggle. Love and blessings, Harlon

    1. Ah! Harlon!! Yes…so beautifully stated…We DON’T have to do it alone…because we are NEVER alone! I have fallen prey to the idea, at times, that I am all alone…and that no one understands. It is a form of self-punishment to cut ourselves off from the love…the beauty! I honor you my friend, for you walk in tune with the Spirit of your Soul and I know that it gets a little dark at times…but the true essence of your soul always shines through! I am so incredibly grateful for our connection!! <3 <3 <3

  3. A very beautiful thought here Lorrie. We are all connected in several ways, and yet we are all so different too. This is so well written, hope you are doing well. Ready for the holidays? I’m not. But hope to be ready soon. You take care of yourself, my friend!

    1. Thanks for stopping by and for commenting Steve! Yes…we are all different but I think we complement one another. Almost ready…yet I always think that…and then remember something else! Happiest of Holidays, friend! πŸ™‚

  4. There are two things I believe we were created for – to create and for relationship. This connection of relationship is so important. And hope is also so necessary to get through this life, isn’t it Lorrie? And even though we are all individual and unique beings, we all share the same common chord of life and species. We all think, feel, love, and the list goes on and on.
I hope you are very well, my friend.

    1. I agree dear Staci!! And both are so important. I have been taking a class and one of the exercises it suggests is when we meet people …strangers…to look at them and say to ourselves…”We are deeply connected.” It has been a very amazing exercise…one that cements the relationship we all share…life!! I am doing well….I hope the same of you. Wishing you many blessings <3

      1. Oh wow. What is this class you are taking? I’m so glad you are doing well. I am well, although have been a bit down lately. Being sick, then a lot of rush rush with my mother-in-law here, my daughter graduating from kindergarten (hahaha), and my hubby preparing for his travel to Lebanon (left Sunday). Life has these ups and downs I guess. But I am well and will be going on a mini-vacay with the kids on Sunday for about four days. Yeah!
Love and hugs to you, my friend.

        1. Hello dear Staci!! I hope your mini vacay was wonderful …and restorative! The class was called Beyond Limits and it was about the teachings of Ernest Holmes. He was part of the ‘new thought’ movement of the early 20th century. It was very interesting and I had a couple very powerful insights! Much love to you and your family for a wonderful Christmas!! β™‘β™‘

          1. Welllllll… I don’t think I will travel by myself with two kids again. I’m an anxious individual and it wasn’t the greatest experience for me. Oh well.
A very merry Christmas to you too Lorrie. I hope you have a beautiful time with friends and family. πŸ™‚ <3

      1. You follow my drift though? Dante passes through the gates of Hell, which bear an inscription ending with the phrase “Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch’intrate”, translated as “Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.” H <3

        1. I must admit that I cheated and did a ‘Cliff’s Notes’ jaunt through Google as a refresher before I answered you! Hehe. Yes! I catch your drift and I honor it with love and humble compassion!
I FEEL so sad at the recent escalation of fear and terrorism, Hariod, and my gut tells me that the way it will be handled will only add to the madness…it will not detract from it. I want to stand on the highest mountain and shout to the world that this is not ‘The Way!’ I pray for words to penetrate hearts and bring love to the forefront. I know my blog is a tiny platform, but I wish to keep the embers of love burning here. I truly believe if enough of us join our power we can make a difference!!
Thank you, Hariod! As always, you give me much to think about and to learn…two of my favorite things!! β™‘β™‘β™‘

  5. “Powered by Love” – love, Lorrie, the same initial Letter… thank you for sharing such “gentle reminders” as Harlon said… I love what you write about creation :
    “the power of Creation,
    extended to all,
    through all,
    inside us all!”
That’s very deep and very true. Each of us has been given so many gifts! Merci my dear Friend β™₯

    1. Ah! My dear beautiful soul mate!! I light up like a shining beacon when you leave a footprint here πŸ™‚ I bless the day we were re-connected in this lifetime!! Thank you for your ever loving support and beautiful thoughts!! We truly have been given so many gifts, dear Fre’de’ric…one of the most powerful ones is our ability to connect. In much love, dear friend <3 <3 <3

    1. Hi Karen!! Thank you so much for stopping by!! It has been a while since we connected…and I pray that you feel peace and love during this holiday season! Many blessings for a new year filled with enlightenment! β™‘

  6. Dearest Lorrie what a powerful Uplifting poem.. Yes so many now are joining in unity of thought as more in humanity recognise that we are all brothers and sisters and the time is Now for reaching out our hands to each other..

I Feel so blessed dear Lorrie to know you are a sister of spirit and that we were guided to join hands within our Blogging journey..

    1. ‘A sister of spirit’…I love it so much dear Sue!!! Yes! And it feels so right when that connection is made…realized! I pray that we continue to meet and connect with all the “SOS”…generally used as a signal asking FOR help…in this case used as an ANSWER!!! Much love to you wrapped in many blessings!! β™‘β™‘
