A New Day

20150812_194234

Reality stokes a fire

of warm burning colors

that fade with the sun

as it sets in time

to the beating of my heart

like a clock’s second hand

it roves around

and comes back again

a new day

a new chance

a new way

I am blessed

with the power of choice

I know my soul is

refreshed every time

I react in an authentic way

to an idea that creation

placed in my heart

Blessitude…

Solitude…

my beautiful…

Attitude!

  1. There is something of synchrony, of melodious harmony, of sympathetic resonances within your words here today Lorrie; as if you and nature – if that is not too mundane a word – had taken to wandering off together, hand-in-hand, to explore each other in a gentle and peaceful communion, just as yourselves, just as you are. 1. Hariod!!!
I hope I will be able to tell you how you moved my soul with your words!! (Which are quite poetic by the way 😉 )

You peeked into my private world and what you saw is exactly what has been transpiring!!! You captured this moment in time…in such incredible truth to honor what it was…what it is!!

Thank you my friend. I feel a little naked and though that causes a bit of vulnerability, I am honored! Honored to show you…honored to be seen!

I wish you this feeling of connectedness for the upcoming weekend, Hariod. Much love ❤

  3. Dear Lorrie,

I thought this was such a beautiful line, or series of lines:

    I know my soul is
    refreshed every time
I react in an authentic way
    to an idea that creation
    placed in my heart

It reminded me of what A Course of Love suggests about creating anew, which is that we simply respond with love to what has been given. We respond, in other words, authentically… And I love the feeling and the image of ideas placed in the heart. Yes… we are that

    Peace
    Michael

    1. Ah! Yes! Deep breath in…hold for 4 seconds…slow exhale…ahhhhh! Your response is so peaceful…so wonderful. Yes, ‘we respond with love to what is given!’ It is exactly what I have been feeling and what inspired this poem…beautiful Michael! Hope all is going well and you are embraced in love!! ♡
