The Magnificence of Creation

20151009_082200

My pity party is over

And I am washed in the love of

The Magnificence of Creation

This, my new word for God

Feels right to my soul

And I honor the love

That is felt here

I believe no matter how bad times may feel,

There is a set amount of time that you can sit down

And feel sorry for yourself

But then you need to pick yourself up

And take the first step

In a forward direction

You have to believe with all your heart

That your struggle is there

For you to learn something

And then you have to believe

In Divine Timing

That what is on its way

Is so much better than

What you had planned

The Magnificence of Creation

Is all-knowing

And it works for you

And through you

Rise up

To your own Magnificence

And believe that the things you desire

Are on the way

Don’t hold tight to the belief

That they must appear exactly as you envisioned

Because you will be disappointed

And that will change your energy

No!

Be willing to release your expectations

But keep your belief

That the right people, things, and ideas

Will manifest in exactly

The perfect timing

Divine Timing!

So get busy looking for them!

I know they are there ❤

I am doing the best I can to let go of the past, worries and fear, trusting in divine order and good to come from selling my house. 6. This is such an uplifting and courageous piece of work Lorrie. It genuinely is so moving to hear of this seismic transition within you – an event so fundamental and powerful that only a few experience anything like it, I think it is true to say. May the light and the light’s love remain shining within you always. H ❤

    1. Hi dear Hariod! Thank you! Your words are so wonderful…and they feel so true to me. It is not an easy thing to feel such disappointment about a dream not realized, and I will be honest and tell you that I did not receive some of the events in my life well, over the past month. There was also a component of authenticity that I questioned…How could I profess to write about these things and not be able to accept them and turn them around in my own life. It was a very freeing experience bathed in the utmost authenticity because the cycle of pain/faith/understanding DID occur and it allowed me to share the experience from my heart. I have missed being here, and it feels really good to be back! ♡♡

  7. by the bootstraps!! I am 100% down for embracing magnificence. Bring it on!!! I know what you mean about questioning my own authenticity as a life and soul coach, spreading the message of a courageous, loving and gentle inner and outer dialogue. There are days when I don’t walk the walk – there is my full confession. My kids may have another version of Bloom Lisa to share…. At any rate, I do follow my own advice, to choose each moment as a clean slate. That life never stops providing choices and as the great Wayne Dyer loved to say, “We are all cursed…..to make choices.” Perhaps we made some bad ones yesterday or just a moment ago, but the ones in from of us are wide open. I have so much love in my heart for you Lorrie. Thank you for sharing your journey with a heart wide open. Much love and happiness – Lisa

    1. I just love your shining soul, Lisa! And I am with you sister!! 😉
I think everything you wrote is what makes us human…and compassionate…and able to speak/write from a place of authenticity! You are so funny about asking your kids 🙂 My baby is soon to be 35 years old and believe me he has a story or two to tell!! I send you a beautiful cloud of love and best wishes for a great adventure this weekend!! Coming to you from a tiny home that has a little less clutter!! 🙂 ♡♡

  8. I love this Lorrie! Makes me think of the old saying, “it doesn’t matter that you get knocked down seven times, as long as, you get up eight.” Enjoy your day/evening…

  9. Ohhhhhhh Lorrie. How did I miss this one? You must have posted it on a weekend (usually I don’t get much time on WP on the weekends).
First of, good for you girl. Yes, I agree. We can only go so long feeling sorry for ourselves. Then we have to pick our selves up, dust the dust off, and continue with living our lives. Creation is spectacular isn’t it. It just goes to show you that God is the greatest creator of all. We were made in His image, so we create, but He’s the number one creator, isn’t he? 🙂
Second, these photos are absolutely superb. I just may have to try and paint them, or one. Did you notice in the first one, the light ring that’s up in the sky? What is that in the ring? Is it the moon?
Hope you’re doing well, my friend.
    Love and hugs.
    🙂 ❤

    1. Hi Staci! Thank you…and Yes!! I love the excitement I can feel when you speak from your heart! We are made in His Image and yes…we must create!!
The ring in the photo, I believe they call a”photo orb.” There was nothing in the sky there…and there was nothing on the camera lens. It is “energy” that is captured…and I LOVE it!! You can google it and read about it. Some say it is just light reflecting off of dust particles…others believe it is spiritual energy. I can’t say…but they sure make for an interesting visual difference in a photo!
Many blessings to you dearbfriend…I hope your week is filled with wonderful creations!! ♡♡

      1. Awwww, thank you Lorrie. I hope your week is filled with wonderful creations too.
That’s a great effect with the ring and all. There are some really cool things one can do with a camera and light, don’t you think? I would love to be a good photographer, and know how to do all of those things. Hmmmmm. Not enough time.
        Blessings.

  10. Oh Lorrie, how wonderful the synchronicity between us is, no matter how far the clock has ticked. If only you knew my sweet angel, ❤ There is so much more I can say about it – about what you shared so beautifully, as well as why there is synchronicity, but you "feel" me enough to know … that if I'm using the word synchronicity, I need not say more.

As I had always written from a place of emotion (any emotion is passion for me – and passion is my muse) – finding myself in a place of emotionally numb for a near year now … I've had complete writers block, so often signing in and staring at a blank page … with "nothin'." Wanting so much, missing so much, not only a creative outlet, but the sharing between the very talented people and beautiful souls I had connected with here. I do believe I have found a way to get past my writers block (a new form of expression, one that doesn't stem from emotion, but thought). That being said, while not able to post and read near daily as i once did, I do believe (I know I've said this before, but this time I've found a way) that I'm back on WP. It's been a heck of a journey my soul sister. Love you and sending you great light, energy, strength and joy. I hope you're still following me since I'd been MIA for so long – if not, please stop on over and re-follow, I would hate to find that I lost my angel connection during my absence. XOXO

    1. Dear Kimba…you could never lose that kind of connection!! I am here (though nowhere near as much as in the past or as much as I would love to be) and I still receive notification of new posts by email from you! 🙂 and when I see you in my inbox I get a huge smile!!

I am so sorry to hear that you have been blocked…I am certain that is a horrific feeling…the need to create rising up inside and not coming out…it scares me to death to think of it. I have flirted with fear around this subject…but I have always stopped the thoughts dead in their tracks and believed that I got my share of writer’s block during the 36 years I ventured away from my soul!

You know I love synchronicity…and I feel the power behind your words!! I send you all good energy…beautiful colors…and connection to the Magnificence of Creation!! Dear soul sister I am always here for you!! ♡♡♡

  11. Beautiful writing, Lorrie. It is amazing how we get attached to things coming off a certain way, and how we so often interpret steps up the mountain as failures. Sometimes we try to step from the base camp to the summit in one step, and our confidence is shattered when it doesn’t work, but really it is the most gentle possible of all corrections that we’ve received, for if we had managed to leap to the summit, with no idea of the conditions there, we might have frozen solid in an instant! Ha! I often find myself returning to the wisdom of trusting in how things unfold, while resisting the need to interpret events in any particular way. Sometimes our greatest failures, in hindsight, were the beginning of our greatest successes!

    Much Love

    1. Thank you dear Michael! Your words are steeped in love and the beautiful resonance comes through so very clear!! Yes, you have nailed it. I am waffling between the idea that our thoughts are things and that we create what shows up in our lives, and the other side that Divine Timing is moving through the universe at all times. In one aspect I can see the ego wants to be the victor…wants to be responsible for all the good that shows up and yet…I don’t know…maybe not so responsible for what we don’t like.
It’s all good…and I am working on the releasing part. And of course I always come back to gratitude….Blessitude 😉
I know you are deep into your project so I will just send a little ‘energy’ that you are exactly where you should be and that all you need to know is shown to you! Much love ♡♡

  12. Beautiful thoughts, Lorrie. Bless you for sharing! Every morning before I get up to replace the “feeling of dread” in the pit of my stomach, I turn inward and give THANKS to God for this glorious day and how it shall be filled with situations and people that bring JOY and LOVE to me. So many hits from Life left me trembling under my covers and in order for me to get up, a manual switch of thoughts directed to Gratitude is made. And Peace returns. 🙂 So Much Love to you, dear friend. Love, Amy ❤

  13. Hey Lorrie,
I love this poem. I really try not to have expectations, but they sure have a way of sneaking in! Then I have to talk them down, and get back to a bigger picture. “Rise up to your own Magnificence. Love that!
Thank you for visiting me at my site and for the follow. I am following you right back! I love your site and look forward to exploring more. I have seen you around WP a lot and always like what you say to people, so I am happy to have a deeper connection now.

    1. Hi Mary!! Welcome! And Thank YOU!! 🙂 I am so happy to connect with you, and as I always believe…the timing is PERFECT…DIVINE! Ah! Those expectations…they appear to be a very hearty weed in the garden…the kind that you think, “Got it!” and the next thing you know it looks like a tree!

I’m so happy you love, “Rise up to your own Magnificence,” because I truly believe that each and every one of us has this brilliance inside…we may have buried it under being human…but we have the ability to pull all the weeds out and expose the Loving Soul that exists inside!!

Hope you have an incredibly beautiful weekend. May you have much to smile about! ❤
