The Magnificence of Creation

20151009_082200

My pity party is over

And I am washed in the love of

The Magnificence of Creation

This, my new word for God

Feels right to my soul

And I honor the love

That is felt here

I believe no matter how bad times may feel,

There is a set amount of time that you can sit down

And feel sorry for yourself

But then you need to pick yourself up

And take the first step

In a forward direction

You have to believe with all your heart

That your struggle is there

For you to learn something

And then you have to believe

In Divine Timing

That what is on its way

Is so much better than

What you had planned

The Magnificence of Creation

Is all-knowing

And it works for you

And through you

Rise up

To your own Magnificence

And believe that the things you desire

Are on the way

Don’t hold tight to the belief

That they must appear exactly as you envisioned

Because you will be disappointed

And that will change your energy

No!

Be willing to release your expectations

But keep your belief

That the right people, things, and ideas

Will manifest in exactly

The perfect timing

Divine Timing!

So get busy looking for them!

I know they are there ❀

My healing journey on the continuum of "It's all wrong" to "It's all right!" I love art and the creative process, reading, writing, and playing tennis.

  1. Beautiful thoughts, Lorrie. Bless you for sharing! Every morning before I get up to replace the “feeling of dread” in the pit of my stomach, I turn inward and give THANKS to God for this glorious day and how it shall be filled with situations and people that bring JOY and LOVE to me. So many hits from Life left me trembling under my covers and in order for me to get up, a manual switch of thoughts directed to Gratitude is made. And Peace returns. πŸ™‚ So Much Love to you, dear friend. Love, Amy ❀

  2. Hey Lorrie,
I love this poem. I really try not to have expectations, but they sure have a way of sneaking in! Then I have to talk them down, and get back to a bigger picture. “Rise up to your own Magnificence. Love that!
Thank you for visiting me at my site and for the follow. I am following you right back! I love your site and look forward to exploring more. I have seen you around WP a lot and always like what you say to people, so I am happy to have a deeper connection now.

    1. Hi Mary!! Welcome! And Thank YOU!! πŸ™‚ I am so happy to connect with you, and as I always believe…the timing is PERFECT…DIVINE! Ah! Those expectations…they appear to be a very hearty weed in the garden…the kind that you think, “Got it!” and the next thing you know it looks like a tree!

I’m so happy you love, “Rise up to your own Magnificence,” because I truly believe that each and every one of us has this brilliance inside…we may have buried it under being human…but we have the ability to pull all the weeds out and expose the Loving Soul that exists inside!!

Hope you have an incredibly beautiful weekend. May you have much to smile about! ❀
