The Sanctity of Peace

The peace of calm waters...

May this day hold the sanctity of peace
May you feel loved in such a way that you never forget
May calm waters spark the meaning of life and pull forth the beauty that exists deep inside you
May you be compelled to see your perceived foes as a brother or a sister
Walking at the same time
Living
Learning
Failing
Succeeding
Most of all…
Trying!
May your worries be suspended by clouds that reach towards Heaven and leave you unburdened
Leave you free of earthly thoughts
Leave you open to receive precious gifts from our Creator.

Blessitude!

Lorrie ❤

I can feel the pain and chaos that permeate our planet at this time. So many people face incredibly hard burdens for which they see no way out. I used to have to see something to believe it…but now I know that you have to believe something to see it!!

For those of you who are in the midst of turmoil, I send you perfect love and strength to ‘see another way,’ to find the light in the otherwise dark tunnel, and to move forward with the belief that things will most definitely get better.

For those of you who are in a good place, I urge you to continue to shine your light and to offer a hand to someone in need. We are all one. And what we experience now is bound to change. What we reap, we sow. The kindness you offer will be returned.

Stay well my friends…

Be good to one another ❤

Here is an excerpt from A COURSE IN MIRACLES – Chapter 14 VIII 3:1-6

Let your mind wander not through darkened corridors, away from light’s center. You and your brother may choose to lead yourselves astray, but you can be brought together only by the Guide appointed for you. He will surely lead you to where God and His Son await your recognition. They are joined in giving you the gift of oneness, before which all separation vanishes. Unite with what you are. You cannot join with anything except reality.

    1. Hi Miriam😄 I can feel the love from down under…always wanted to visit…so far have not…but one day maybe!!
The world does need love so badly now…there are giant shifts occurring all around us…not all of them good. I try so hard to keep my side of the street bathed in light…not always easy…but oh so necessary! Stay well my friend…keep in love and light! 💜

      1. I know what you mean Lorrie, and you’re right it’s not always easy. But so necessary. One huge source of light, love and inspiration coincidentally comes from someone with your namesake, Lorie Ladd. Have you heard of her? ✨

We are light…and we do work together. And even though we are in the middle of craziness I feel when we join together…we are much stronger than anything that will come at us!!
              Sweet Blessings ❤

    1. Awwww….tears in my eyes, Joanna! Good tears! Thanks for touching my heart. I am doing well. I have had a lot of upheaval…3 real estate transactions in less than 6 months in the middle of a pandemic! But everything is consolidated into one home that I love so much. How are you doing…I hope you, too, are all settled and that all the work is done on your home. There is something about nesting…especially now!
Thanks for the good wishes…I believe it works ljust like that!!😉
      All my best💜

      1. Yes, to nesting. Work is all done on our house in Wilmington. We sold my parents’ old house and bought a little place in the mountains where my son lives so I can visit him and his family and not have to stay in a hotel.. Ups and downs, but more ups. More gratitude. I’m happy for you in your dream home. ❤

        1. That’s great!! My son is far away. He turns 40 this year…YIKES!! I set up a visit half way…so we both drive and meet in the middle. We will disinfect the condo…and we will bring all our food in and stay home…just enjoying each others company! We will miss Thanksgiving and Christmas…so the first night we will celebrate Thanksgiving…then Christmas…last night his Birthday!! Can’t wait😊😊 I just hope that we all feel safe enough to travel at that point in time.
Take good care of yourself and your family 💜

    1. Thank you, Sue 💜 I know this is where I need to stay. With all the divisiveness and separation in our country now it is easy to get sucked in to standing up for what you believe in a way that doesn’t reflect what you believe!! I know how important it is to stay in my lane…and keep my energy high…and light. And there is also the piece that I have to allow others to do the same. Difficult times…
The hardest part is finding out how people REALLY think…people you never would have thought could ascribe to the things that are going on.
Thank you for reminding me where I belong!! Much love to you my friend💜💜🌻

      1. Yes it is mind blowing what is occurring Lorrie, staying in balance, neutrality, trying to withhold judgement.. NOT easy…. Learning to observe, stay centred and understand ALL have their rolls and parts to play…. Keeping LOVE at our centre within our hearts…. and knowing Good is going to win over evil…. In fact I continually see we have won the battle… And those who perpetrate fear, will only reap for themselves what they are sowing for others…
        Much love dear friend ❤

        1. I always feel better when I hear your words, Sue…and here’s a BIG THANK YOU!! I am sometimes amazed at all I have learned on this journey…and then there are days when I know there is still so much more ahead. Knowing things is one thing…being able to consistently practice them…quite another.
I am grateful for our connection and when I do connect to your beautiful energy I feel stronger!!
Much love back to you. I hope you have a wonderful weekend ❤ ❤

            1. Wow, Sue! I am on your site right now listening to Lorie Ladd…and that coupled with your words here…so good. Makes so much sense. Like I said, I have to fight some days to not go into the lower energies. Thanks for your light…and your reassurance…and all you share. Your heart is so bright and beautiful!! ❤ ❤

  3. My dear Lorrie – what a touching and uplifting post. I am inspired by your call to action for empathy and compassion – and the process that may involve and as you brilliantly mention, trying is where it starts. I hope you are doing well and to borrow your words “May your worries be suspended by clouds that reach towards Heaven and leave you unburdened”.
Always grateful to have you in my life, you bring out the best in me.
    Much love, Harlon

    1. Hi Harlon😊😊
I am always so happy to see you. Thank you for always letting me feel our connection, and for your beautiful support of my writing. I am doing well, Harlon…navigating the new normal so to speak. Our governor has made a push to fully open and decided masks are not mandatory…I disagree and so will limit my exposure…and ALWAYS wear a mask. It is a little unsettling because there are many who are on board with his ideals and they will go out without masks and spread this crazy virus. Strange times we live in…
I hope you are well, Harlon. I wonder what it is like by you?
Stay well, my friend 💜 see the light!

    1. Hi Kirt! How are you my friend😊 I would have to say that given your response here that you are filled with perfect love and that you shine that directly out into the world! And boy, does the world need all of that love and light right now.
As each new development in this crazy year unfolds the one thing I know and lean on is my faith that good will prevail. Thanks, Kirt…sending all good things to you and your family!
